My wife and I went to a concert of theirs two years ago September, and we got so drunk and rocked out that night, it was awesome. Had to take a cab back to our hotel room. We had decent seats, about 30-40 rows back, nothing spectacular, and he ran through the crowd playing and got within 15 rows of us. I thought he was Jesus by that time, we were plowed.. haha.
It was so epic because they played for 2 hours, went backstage, and fired up this backstage cam when everyone was shouting for encore. Then Dave was like "How many songs should be play, Taylor?" and the crowd erupted and such, so you couldn't hear them talk anymore (and they knew it) so they started holding up fingers. Taylor held up 2, then Pat Smear held up 4, Nate held up 6, Chris held up 8, Dave held up 10. Then flashed 10 again, and again, and again, and Kansas City was just fucking exploding at this point, you could hear us from space. They came out and played FOUR FUCKIN' MORE HOURS. Six. Fucking. Hour. Show. My God.
Greatest concert I've ever seen.
