That was probably the most action packed best episode of TWD they've had yet. Such a good episode and I miss Hershel already :(

I can't wait for the 2nd half of season 4 because I've loved the first half. After seasons 2 and 3 I'd given up hope for the show but this season has brought me back.

Yeah this season might be my favorite. At least so far. So much happened in that last 20 minutes. My jaw dropped quite a few times. Especially when the little girl was bitten by the lake. I thought for sure it would just be a scare.

That episode pulled me in big time. I forgot I was watching a TV show until the end. So good!

God I fucking loved it. The battle at the end, hershal, the little girl at the lake, the governor shooting the little girl in the head in front of her mother, the baby carrier covered in blood with no baby in it and A MOTHER FUCKING TANK!
AHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I watched it late last night. Had the Hershel death spoiled for me thanks to Twitter, but still enjoyed it. This season has been a million times better than the last two... I'd basically given up all hope for the show until someone told me that this season had been getting so much better. Glad they killed off the Governor, too -- there was really no need to continue to drag his story arc on.

It'll be interesting to see where they go from here. The locations of Judith and Carol are sure to be interesting.

So am I the only one who doesn't think he's dead? They cut away from the gunshot and the sword through the chest seems like the kind of thing this show deems survivable. :lol

^Even for this show, I think him surviving all that would be a pretty huge stretch :lol

I watched the talking dead after show and they had an interview with the guy who plays the governor and they had the writer / creator on the show, both of whom confirmed that the governor is dead and will not be returning.

One of the best episodes of the show period. Wonder where they will go from here? Wonder what is going to happen to the lesbian sister? Pretty sure she is the only one of the governors forces left alive. Also those little girls are psycho. I feel bad for new T-Dog.

I had both Hershel's death and Judith's "death" spoiled for me, but that's what happens when you can't wait the half week delay we have and have to resort to watching online. Thankfully when it returns there'll just be a one day delay!

Because I'd read Hershel was to die, I spent the whole episode waiting for it but still couldn't quite believe it when it happened. I was happy with the Governors death. I knew Michonne would have some role to play in it, so when the sword came through his chest, I was happy. I also loved it when the kids came and saved Tyreese, Carol taught them well!

I thought they would keep a couple more of The Governors new people around, but I think only 2 survived (the sisters)

Well, in the comics, he survived losing his arm, his finger nails, his testicles and being stabbed in the eye. But I am pretty sure he is dead! There was no need to keep him alive any longer.

I am happy with this episode. I thought it was excellent. I have been waiting for this to happen as it was a huge moment in the comics. It was done a little different in the show basically, the same shit went down. In ended the same way in the sense with Rick and Carl separated with the group and going off of their own. Can't wait for the second half of this season.
