23andMe/Genome Testing

Has anyone participated in 23andme? In other words, has anyone ever went through DNA analysis to see about fun facts such as heritage, etc.? Well, as a graduation gift, to curb my intense curiosity about my genome, I've submitted my DNA for processing to find out if I'm 0.0000000001% Native American. Though I will never be able to trace my heritage through the Dawes Rolls, this will be one method to see if any family lore is remotely on target.

I must admit it weighed on me heavily, to do this. I struggled with some paranoia; it's been on my "bucket list" for years. It's stupid, I know, but a lot of things in life are... I feel it's just good entertainment, if anything. Results are tentative... we don't know many, many things about the genome. And I can use it for comedic material when necessary.

I've had a lot of fun emailing my brother "updates" about it being in "analysis" phase... it's been hilarious (for me).

Strong evidence pointing out I am likely from Asia. Specifically South East, and a runaway from something, causing a name change.

Not really. It sort of confirmed my suspicion that I had no native American ancestry. I'm 100% European. Specifics: 96.9% Northwestern European (57% British/Irish), 1.7% Southern European, 0.4% Eastern European, and 1% broadly European.

I'm also highly primitive, given my level of whiteness. I have >67% more Neanderthal variants than other 23andme customers. I think this explains why some of my family communicates in grunts and squeaks. All other findings correlate with my heritage, such as trait likelihood, etc.
