"She looks very sharp."

"She looks so sharp she makes my pants look sharp."

First person that can accurately explain where this reference comes from gets 10 positive rep points.

:lol :lol

Oh what fun. I'd like to say that I didn't actually do it three separate times. I just clicked 3 times really quickly.

Now, I don't really care that you objectified that woman specifically but I was trying to point out how such "innocent comments" about how you "were just stating how much you wanted to have sex with her" are some of the more real and pervasive forms of sexism around. You're not going around holding back women's rights to vote, no, but you are saying I need to get a sense of humour because I didn't agree with you openly stating how much you wanted to fuck a random woman. It's those thoughts that are really hard to break and you should actually make the effort to break them because that's real sexism.

It's the same as the people who are actually racist. They don't wear pointy white hats the majority of the time but they're still racist. What you did was basically say "I'm not racist BUT.. [insert actually racist stuff here]"

Do I need to get a sense of humour? Not really, i'm one of the funniest people I know, thanks! Why did I pick this topic? Well, because it was easy. But more importantly, we're friends. As your friend I want you to break these annoying little habits. Because if you can't respect women when you're with your mates and you can have a laugh and a joke about stuff, do you actually respect women at all? You objectified that woman. You reduced her to a sexual object. It's up to you how you want to justify it.

The moral of this story is Viazon and Taj are both dicks. Can we move on now? :P

I do respect women. I don't need to start defending myself and explain why. And I don't think I should be made to feel otherwise because of some random comment I posted on the internet that someone took to seriously.

You've done it before. You have looked at attractive woman and thought, 'yeah I definitely would'. You can say you haven't it you want. I'll know you're lying. It's ok. I don't think it's sexist to say you would like to have with someone you find attractive.

Viazon wrote:I was merely implying this lady was attractive enough for me to want to have sex with her. I don't see how that's objectifying. I'm still acknowledging her as a woman. If I had said, "I'd hit that" or "I'd smash it" I could understand. That would be seeing the woman as an object. As you can see, I called her "she".

Did I say it in a crude manner? Perhaps. But so what? No need to get all butt hurt about it. I was just joking anyway. Not about her attractiveness, but the way I said. I figured us lot have known each other so long that we would be able to make jokes about such things. The sort of things you say between friends but don't actually mean. It's why you say these things between friends and not to strangers. Because friends know you are just messing around. Don't get me wrong, I don't give a shit about the rep points. Down vote me all you want. But when you do it, at least do it for an actual good reason.

I like you guys, but seriously. Starting to get a little bit too sensitive in your old ages. Get a sense of humour.

Bloody hell guys.

Also, she would most definitely get it.

After I took her for a nice meal and asked for her parents' blessing first.

Man I always think you can't get more weird and then you say something else :lol

The image of Viazon and his equally odd mates all sat outside the supermarket eating chicken together in the car is too much :lol
