I like this a lot. Singles matches for the women that actually mean something. It's a start. If this creates dissension in the team, leading to the team breaking up (followed by the others hopefully) then that's even better. I hope they have some good matches on Monday. Put Sasha against Becky or Charlotte and they should hopefully have a good match.

I'm still not convinced that Paige should be considered in the same league as Sasha/Becky/Charlotte/Bayley, so my main concern is that she might win the Challenge. I really don't think she should.

Yeah this is some sort of development and meaning for the matches which is always good. The three team thing isn't working anymore, I liked it at first but it's run it's course quickly. Sow the seeds of dissension now and build to some breakups.

If the internet is to be believed everyone thinks Charlotte is going to be the one to dethrone Nikki. Whether that's now or later though I don't know.

I've never seen any of Paige's NXT stuff, but I've yet to see her have a good match on Raw or on pay per view. She's had quite a few passable matches, but nothing that stuck out in my mind as good. Her run with AJ was mediocre, and that's about as good as it got. She's had a couple of disasters on Raw too, though that was probably inevitable due to the quality of her opponents. Also, she calls her spots too damn loud.

Charlotte isn't as good a worker as the likes of Sasha or Becky, but she is a really impressive athlete and does some cool looking moves. She generally holds herself well. Hopefully the rest will fall into place later, but I have seen her put on a few quality matches. So I'm a fan, even if I think she has work to do.

In terms of what I've seen from both of them, I'd definitely rank Charlotte over Paige. Since she debuted on the main roster I've been waiting for Paige to show me what the fuss is all about, and personally I still haven't seen it. She's got cool music and a great, unique look for the Divas, but her ring work and her personality have left me fairly cold.

Charlotte is still very green and cannot lead a match by herself. She needs a good partner in Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, Bayley, Nattie etc. to reach her peak. The fact that she is as good as she is and still has so much room for improvement is almost scary. She can easily be the best female worker to have ever walked through the doors in WWE if she puts the work in.

The sooner Charlotte and Paige are both heels the better. Sasha is great in her role, but the crowd want to cheer and get behind her. It'll be interesting to see how she can transition. Unfortunately, WWE are worse at booking babyface women than they are at booking male babyfaces, so they'll probably destroy everything about her that makes her special in the process.

Anyway, I'm rambling. I want Becky Lynch to get the title shot because I love her.

I like that they are giving the divas three matches on Raw and that the matches mean something, but I still feel WWE needs to go one step further. The biggest issue that WWE has with the divas is that none of them have their own character. The reason people loved the girls in NXT was because you could determine who each female was and why you would want to root for her. So I think they should really consider having a video package ready for each competitor and maybe a short interview/promo. Give the crowd something to dig its teeth into. I also hope that Becky wins this. She is the best worker of the three and also the best looking. Charlotte is impressive in the ring and has the highest upside by far, but at some point the fans will see through the Ric Flair rip off stuff. She needs to develop her own character, which I fear won't happen until she is a heel. Paige has the benefit of experience and youth on her side, but she really needs to work on not calling spots so loud. Also I really can't dig her character anymore. It is like she is trying to be AJ, but doesn't have the mic skills to justify it. I will say that, she seems to be the most comfortable on the mic of three currently. That will change once the other two have their characters develop more.

I also think Charlotte will be the next champion, much to my dismay. I hate how much she uses her Dad to get a pop, sure she'd be stupid not to reference it at all but the music, woo chant, chops and stuff has already grown tiresome - take that all away and what do you have? I'll get behind her more once she starts showing me more of who she actually is.

As for the beat the clock challenge? Awesome, it'll be nice to have a reason to actual invest in these matches. I'm still certain Nikki will be the champion until AJ Lee's record is broken (because that's what I think they're going to do regardless because HERR DERR AJ IS MARRIED TO PUNK GOSH DARNIT) so I think Paige will win the challenge.

Unrelated topic, Sasha needs to distance herself from the other two goons in her squad. The Boss doesn't need them.

Every time Sasha comes out to Naomi's music, I feel a little sick. First of all, that music is terrible. Second of all, so is Naomi. Okay, terrible might be a little strong, but compared to Sasha? She's clearly second rate.

I don't think Becky should win here. She's one of my favourites too. I probably prefer Sasha slightly, but I think Becky is very underrated. However, I think she's one of those characters that fans will learn to respect over time. That's what happened with her on NXT. Charlotte and Sasha and even Bayley got over huge with the crowd before Becky did. Her character is understated, and she doesn't have that immediate hook the others have. Which is fine because she doesn't need them. Ultimately, I think she could be more successful than any of the others, but it's going to take her a little longer to get to that point. Which I'm completely fine with.

Sasha has the bigger personality. Charlotte has the connection to one of the biggest legends in wrestling. That's going to make fans more invested in them early on, until they see more of the women and learn to judge them on their strengths and the nuances of their performances. Once that happens, Becky could be massive for them. But until then, I'd rather they not force it. Putting the belt on Charlotte or Banks is probably the right move at the moment.

I agree mostly with your assessment on Becky. I guess I could compare her to Cesaro in the sense that they are both very understated and will need longer build to get the audiences invested.

I have a feeling the return of the 3 minute diva matches is about to make its presence known. I'd love WWE to give the girls all decent matches to really show what they can do, but i don't think its likely with what we've seen so far. However, I'm all for some development, and this is something anyway.

My question is why is Team PCB the only ones allowed to qualify? Should it not be Team BAD vs Team PCB, with all 6 ladies eligible to get the quickest time and the title shot? Unsure why only 3 of the woman are allowed to qualify.

The logic is probably that PCB won the match at Summerslam. Which makes a lot of sense to me, but they should state that as the reason on television to make it more obvious.

See, that makes complete sense. If they actually bring that up, I'd be pretty impressed.

I also see Night of Champions will be far enough away that Nikki will have broken the record by then. So she's actually going to break the record whilst not have defended her title for 3 months. Excellent.

Apparently the plan is for two PCB members to get the same time so then we get a 3 way at NOC and then they can tease the tension, so Charlotte and Paige will get the same time and one will turn heel when the other one wins at NOC... On the other side... I really can't wait for TeamPCBotch to fuck this up
