So Virgin Media's got their TV Anywhere thing where you can watch the majority of your TV channels through your browser, it's a bit clunky but generally an alright service for when you can't be fucked switching over to your set top box.

But for ages now and, just tried to do it there and it's still the same, the bloody thing doesn't support Google Chrome? The fuck. It's pretty much the browser nowadays and they're not bothering to accommodate it, not like they're working on it or anything, either, as it's been a hell of a long time and they've never addressed any plans to add Chrome support.

Pretty dumb tbh, it's pretty much the sole reason I have Firefox on this machine. Even then, when it does work, it's still a bit shonky as the player exits fullscreen when it loses focus, losing the main advantage of having it on the PC. Motherfucker it is 2015, people have multiple screens. Let me multitask without minimizing my shit!

Spammed a few tweets at them echoing the above sentiments but I've seen no reply as of yet. Felt good to rant anyway. Pricks.

Sky Go is the same. Can't watch BT Sport on Chrome either.

Chrome dropped support for Silverlight and these fuckers haven't and don't intend to make a switch themselves. The fucked up think about it is, Silverlight refuses to work in Firefox to me, it just crashes the browser. And I'd rather cut both my nuts off than try and use Internet Explorer.

Silverlight is just horrible and always has been. I can't blame Chrome for doing away with it, and I hope all these streaming media services open their fucking eyes and drop it too.
