Voted after work for Labour in my constituency. Was having a shit day but having voted in what will be a close election, feel very uplifted I have to say. I think people realise how much of a fight it's going to be.

On another note, how ridiculously easy is it to vote?! I went without my polling card, gave my name (chap took a while to find it and then, as usual with me, struggled to pronounce it before saying "is that you?"), confirmed address and that's it! No need for ID!

Anyone but the Tories in power - will be depressing having to endure Cameron for another five years..

FOR FUCK'S SAKE!!

Exit poll shows Tories have got 316 seats, short of a majority.

Labour have done shit - 239 seats. Miliband's gone.

Depressing IF this is true...

It's just an exit poll, not set in stone. Although it's not looking good let's just wait and see what the actual results say. You're right if accurate it would be totally depressing.

From what I hear the one in 2010 was very accurate. I'm gonna go batter all the no voters if we get stuck with fucking Tories again.

I have a mate who voted UKIP because the local candidate lived on the same road as him.

No kidding.

Point made on the Alternate Election show on Channel 4 that people don't want Milliband because he's campaign has been all about the working class when he's not working class himself, maybe that's why the exit polls are so poor. Aye this could be rough for them.

56/59 (95%) of seats in Scotland went to the SNP.

Labour, Lib Dems and the Tories took the remaining three.

Nigel Farage didn't get elected, he said he'd be resigning if that happened so we'll be rid of him if he's true to his word.

Small victories, folks.

Look at his sad wee face

How pleased with himself did he look when they announced his tally? This has cheered me up somewhat.
