Have you ever stolen anything?

Last week one of my friends was in court for stealing £4000 while working at a supermarket. He avoided jail but has to pay it all back and do community service.

I can't think of a time I've ever stolen anything. I feel bad if I ask to borrow a pen from someone and end up taking it home. I could never steal thousands of pounds.

But seriously, when I was younger I would steal sweets from the shop every now and then. Anyone who says they never did is a damn liar! I have never stolen anything major though.

I can't really think of anything, other than the fact that my friends all used to take little things from school at one point when we were young. Just for the petty rebellion of it, I guess. Though I'm pretty sure it all got left back by end of term. Actually, I think most of it was just hidden on school premises anyway and not actually taken away.

I'm the same as you, where I'll just feel too bad about it. There have been a couple of times when I've left the pub forgetting to pay for something, but I'd remember on the way home and feel really guilty, and rush out the next day to pay back the money.

We have this thing every year in Norwich called the Norfolk Show. When I was about 11, I stole a rubber snake toy from some stall whilst attending that. It was actually accidental, which no one ever believes, and if it wouldn't have cost fifteen quid to get back into the Norfolk Show the next day, I would have returned it. Mad guilt.

In school days, I spent the bare minimum on PE kits so hence, was left short if I needed new trackies/or the poorly designed PE jumper. So, school would normally give a temporary one to wear but I would "forget" to return them....

I used to steal stationary and supplies from school, and I'm not just on about a few pens. I would take printing paper, glue guns, notepads and even one of those wall staplers. No idea why.

Stole $100 bill out of an acquaintance's purse back in high school.

She brought it to school after her she got her first paycheck. She was all proud of it and showing it off. We were sitting in a circle of people, so I jokingly grabbed it out of her purse, expecting to be caught. Then trying to turn it into a lesson that she shouldn't carry big bills or if she did, that she shouldn't fucking flaunt the shit. When I put the money in my pocket, no one said a word. I just sat there the rest of the period and no one noticed. Had a moral struggle of whether or not I should just be a good person and give it back. Decided I didn't even like the bitch that much. When the bell rang, I went about the rest of my day, $100 richer. Spent that on LoZ: TP. Good times. Found out later there was a $50 reward for information regarding who stole it. Still never got caught.

Haven't stolen anything since.

I've never really stolen anything major, but the things I have stolen are really weird lol. When I was about 12 I went through a phase of going into my local newsagent and stealing the free gifts off the front of magazines, even if I didn't particularly want said free gifts.

When I was 17 I was on holiday in Turkey with my friend, we were walking back from a bar drunk after a night out. My friend started talking to a man who was running an ice cream stall, he turned around to get something so I took it upon myself to steal an ice cream cone. No actual ice cream, just the cone. Again I can't for the life of me figure out why I felt the need

My daughter accidentally stole a punnet of plums from Asda once, she was holding them whilst sat in the trolley and we forgot to put them on the conveyor belt to scan them, we were using self service so there was no checkout assistant to remind us. Didn't realize until we'd got back to the car and she was still holding them.
