I think he was just trying to pull some discussion out of him. When someone starts a thread to get some discussion, they're not going to be satisfied with one word answers. I don't think that indicates troll.

The thing people need to understand about this is that even though wwe is a global company they still need to produce capital to survive. Wwe needs to focus the major storlines around interest of its key demographics. The point of this is that the key demographics in this case would be the American households as america makes up its strongest group of viewers.

Going into wrestlemania wwe is going to throw its biggest hooks out in the water in attempts to catch the most viewers it can, that mean if they have to pull the american patriotism card then they will.

I'm not entirely sure how to respond to the accusations that I'm trolling, I've never had that directed my way before. I'm not entirely sure how my posts could be interpreted as trolling either, but for the record, no, I'm not trolling.

I'm a global mod here. I'm not going to deliberately troll the place.

I don't know though, is this really good business? Sure, America is their biggest market. But is this patriotism stuff over enough in America to make up for the people it puts off in other countries? I really don't think so. I reckon this Rusev v Cena feud was actually going stronger before they started bringing US vs Russia into it.

Besides, if there's any time in the year that WWE should be thinking global, it's with Wrestlemania. Even many of those at attendance at Wrestlemania won't be American. There's always a large crowd that travels from elsewhere in the world.

I'm American and I'm rooting for Rusev. So yea.

Also, England is notorious for awful patriotism. Just watch their national team during the anthem. They don't give a fuck about patriotism.

^ That's because any real national identity England had died a long time ago. Most people hate the Royal Family. I personally love them and I kind of like that I live in a country with a Queen.

Anyone else find it funny how they were playing up how badly Rusev injured Cena on Raw and questioning if he can make it to WrestleMania, only for him to compete on that week's SmackDown?

The lack of continuity in the WWE astounds me.

The PC Brigade in Britain would never allow us to do a story like that....................

One foreigner vs all of Britain...............that's simply not on.............

You can't imply color, religion or race without being accused of being racist by someone or other.
