Seconded. Seriously, it was an amazing premiere and that fucking ending. Only one episode in and I'm fairly optimistic for the series. Bob Odenkirk is the man.

Its was a pretty damn good premiere. Odenkirk was just born to play this character. You will also see the references to Breaking Bad, but it is definitely its own show.

I'm struggling to muster up the urge to watch it to be honest. I'm sure it's perfectly good an all, but I'm still unclear as to why it was made and what the point is.

What a brilliantly directed opening episode. The story progressed nicely, but I was mostly impressed with its photography and editing. It has already appeared set itself apart from Breaking Bad, aesthetically, and formed its own 'stylistic identity'. And that ending.

I loved it. It set itself apart from Breaking Bad and any bad feelings I had coming in to it were almost immediatley gone. Cant wait for tonights episode. Any fan of not just Breaking Bad, but good television in general should be giving this a watch.

It was made for the same reason all TV shows are made, to entertain people and get them to watch and the point is to make money for people through the advertising dollars it collects.

The Breaking Bad connection was the point. They knew it was a built in fan base that would draw people to the show. It was about making money and a business decision and that's fine as long as the product is strong and based off of last night's episode it was really strong.
