If someone said...

If someone said to you that they could guarantee that you could live until you were 75 years old, but then that was it, you'd be done. Would you take the deal?

On one hand, you would know for sure and wouldn't have to worry about something happening to you before then and missing things. But on the other, you could end up living to 85 or 90 if you didn't take the deal.

What say you?

Nope. I'll take my chances of making it past then. 75 isn't really all that old any more.

Nah, I'd take my chances. Plus I wouldn't like knowing when I was going to die.

On one hand, I wouldnt have a care in the world, I would probably take more risks, from a business standpoint. Knowing when EXACTLY I would die would push to further cement my legacy on this planet(if any at all :P ). So motivationally, it could be very useful.

On the other hand, the fear that my death date would be coming up would bug the shit out of me.

It's really a flip of the coin for me.

I would have to pass for the simple fact that knowing the exact date of my death would really bother me

Well my Dad died at 59 last year, so right now it's not sounding like a terrible deal to me. You could do worse than 75. But I reckon I probably wouldn't like knowing at the same time, so I doubt I'd take the deal.
