Lovely 3-1 win over Newcastle. Didn't play great defensively (what's new) especially in the first half but cracking goals. Falcao's workrate is getting sharper but just needs a goal. Young was excellent at the WB, really developing in that role. Spurs won't be easy though - could be dropped points I feel.

Aaron McLean loaned out, 8 games unbeaten since. :lol

Few other thoughts;

- Lol, Giroud

Giroud is such a twat :lol

I still stand by my statement that this should be Wenger's last season in charge of Arsenal. I'm not calling for his head on a platter or saying that he deserves to go, but the club have been stale for some time and need a new man at the helm. Wenger's philosophy stopped working in like 2006, and I think the only reason he's still there is out of sentiment. He should 'move upstairs' as they say, while a new manager with a fresh approach is brought in. Wenger has done everything he can for the club, but they need to end this era.

My mind said we'd drop points, even a defeat today, considering Spurs' recent slight improvement in results or a edgy win. But considering how well we played in the first half, i.e. opportunities created, we should have had the game out of sight. Spurs not comfortable at home and we seized upon their nervousness. Mata was our best player today (Rooney aswell), unlike other games, had an influence but messed up his second half chance.

2 points dropped and in light of today's results, not a good result in light of the chances. Falcao's work rate seems OK but just don't feel entirely confident when he gets a goal scoring opportunity. That first half chance, I thought he'd take it with his right foot. RVP - again, despite his good form, should be burying his chance. Wilson hasn't shown massive signs but tbf, don't think the ball has been played into him regularly to show what he can do so don't see changes to the team barring Rafael for Valencia for Thursday.

I was kinda content with the draw after the match but frustrating considering Arsenal won, Southampton drew and can hope for a draw when those two teams play nextweek.

City dropping points to Burnley after being 2-0 up sums up why Chelsea will win the title. No striker or not, should have seen the game out.

Has anyone seen a man more ginger than Sean Dyche?

It's as if someone has covered his head and goatee in PVA glue and poured the remnants of a bag of Wotsits over him.

Pardew, The King, returning to his Kingdom at Palace. Kinda has a ring to it.

I don't blame him for wanting to leave considering his relationship with Ashley and the way he is confined to the role by the orders from above. Fans completely don't like him and tbf, not in a bad position atm, but probably has had enough. Shame, Ashley didn't sack him, could have made a couple of million in compensation rather than Ashley pocketing some cash.

I think Pardew would keep Palace up but not sure how much funds he'd get, don't see longevity there though - think he'd be gone soon whereas Ashley would keep him at Newcastle regardless - good or bad times - as long as Pardew toed the line.

Who takes over at Newcastle? Bruce will go as favourite. Sherwood as an outside bet? Might fancy that job rather than West Brom/Hull if Bruce left.

If Steve Bruce takes over at Newcastle I will laugh and laugh.

Lallana is running the show against Swansea. He looks incredible.

How was Sterling not sent off for that slap?

Linesman was 3 feet away, did nothing. Should've been a straight red.

If he doesn't get a ban after the game then its fucked up... Cisse will be getting a ban for his elbow on Coleman and what Sterling did was much worse!

I don't understand how/why the assistant never flagged it. He was right next to it, saw what happened and bottled the call.

Cisse's was worse than Sterling's surely. Former's was a three elbow hack at Coleman. Latter's seemed like a slap.

But Jonjo Shelvey - fucking up and showing how besides one good goal in a while, he's fucking shit.

Seems Irvine's been sacked by WBA - Sherwood favourite.

And Fabriccio Coloccini, current Newcastle captain, set to replace Pardew?! That's going to be fun. A decision that could balls up for Ashley which is always fun.
