Who are your favourite pundits?

So often we hear about shitty pundits (Adrian Chiles, Michael Owen, Andy Townsend, Garth Crooks) but rarely do I see guys getting praise for their punditry work.

I'm a big fan of Clarence Seedorf but he's only ever around at World Cups and big European games for the BBC. Gary Neville has proven to be fairly good too. I want to dislike him as I hated him as a player, but he's been a great pundit for Sky.

Who are your favourite pundits?

I like most of the British announcers. Except Neville, he can be annoying with his bias in CL games. Also Martin Tyler needs some anti-depressants, the guy sounds like he's about to kill himself during most matches.

In the US, specifically on the NBC coverage of the EPL, Arlo White is without a doubt the best. He's from Leicester, but he has a great knowledge of American culture since he's been the voice of the Seattle Sounders and integrates that into his commentary. He doesn't "dumb it down" for us American fans either.

Taylor Twellman is very US biased but he knows his stuff and is acceptable to listen to for US games. Alexei Lalas on the other hand is almost insufferable.

Has to be Neville - has used the vast time given for analysis and taken it to a new level. He got voted the best pundit by the Football Supporters' Federation for the second year and fully deserved. So when you see other woeful "punditry" by Shearer, Savage - makes you weep.
