It still fucking baffles me how on earth Neil Warnock managed to worm his way back into being a Premier League manager.

Agreed, I don't understand how he does it. He's a decent Championship manager at best.

He's also the type of manager I would despise to work under. Moody, petulant, complains about everything... I just hate the way he handles himself. Decisions go against every team and managers have a right to complain, but Warnock always acts as if he's the victim of a conspiracy. I've had enough of seeing his sneering face on MOTD once a week, so I'd hate to be one of his players who have to put up with it every day.

I just wouldn't want to be around him if I was a player. Top cunt.

Cut the team some slack - it's quite difficult to score goals in the Premier League.

I'd expect you of all people to know that, seeing as it's the reason why your team got relegated from it.

Would love it if Palace got relegated. He fucked up Sheffield United's relegation battle and moaned about Fergie's team selection vs. West Ham when he was incapable of making sure his team got the job done. Another 9k fine for him today.

How the fuck did we not get a result vs. City last Sunday? Lost 2-1 tonight to CSKA and their defence was woeful.

I do like Pellegrini but fear for him if they fuck up the league title defence badly (already on their way to not retaining the title) and now an early exit in the CL a possibility and out of the Carling Cup - Manuel's cards may be numbered.

I can't believe Arsenal gave up a 3-goal advantage to Anderlecht. That's ridiculous.

Put in a defensive crisis akin to United's to City's then I doubt latter would have done better. Namely because City don't have any English or British born defenders coming through their youth system.

United will have to grit their teeth on a season not being in the CL but we've won it three times, got to two finals in space of three years. City have won it aswell of course? Oh wait...

Ignoring the trading of jabs, City should be doing better with what they've got. TBF to them, the managers they've had haven't exactly been successes in Europe. Mancini was woeful as Inter's coach in the CL, one of the main reasons they sacked him because he was so poor. Pellegrini did a solid job with Villareal but he's struggling to manage with the expectations of a team expected to do more. Unlike Chelsea and Abramovich, who was obsessed with the CL, Sheikh Mansour doesn't really seem that way so Manuel might survive, most definitely, until the end of the season but further on from that, might get another season.. and also City need to buy younger players now. Toure/Kompany are in the back end of their 20s, Aguero's in brilliant nick so should try and build a team around him if he can stay fit.

The Champions League will happen for City eventually, I'm sure of it. Look at Chelsea, for example. City have just had some bad luck and bad performances, but I have no doubt that Mansour wants the trophy and will persist until he gets it, like Abramovich. It'll happen in time.

Not sure if anyone is watching the Everton vs Lille game, but Everton are excellent.
