Looks like Kurt Angle is going back to TNA

- TNA President Dixie Carter has been teasing an announcement but word is that it's not a new TV deal but a new contract for Kurt Angle.

Angle is expected to re-sign with TNA and finish his career there. The WWE discussions are reportedly done and a WWE return for Angle isn't happening.

Angle is in Hollywood this week to have meetings about expanding his acting career and auditions.

Bummer. Would have loved to have seen him have one final run in WWE, but I don't think Vince or HHH would touch him with a ten foot pole at this point due to his health and all his other issues.

Angle is done. Couldn't give a fuck if he stays on with TNA. At this point, he's too broken down to perform in the ring. Even when he recovers, he's too injury prone to really rely on his performances at this point. His promos are gone to shit; it seems he just doesn't care anymore.

The only thing I want to see Angle do is come back to WWE, walk out to that awesome theme, maybe beat someone like Rusev in one match, then go for the Hall of Fame in a year or two. I'd be psyched to see all that happen. But I have almost no interest in his ongoing wrestling career. He doesn't have it anymore.

His health is terrible and his career is going nowhere. What is left for him at this point? Why continue? He had nothing to offer the business anymore and the business has nothing to offer him - the only thing he'll get by continuing to compete is more injuries. He looks so frail these days and seems to have shrunk each time I tune in to TNA.

It's a shame how things have turned out for him, really.

Him facing Rusev at WrestleMania was why I was hoping he'd come back this year. I pretty much agree with everything you said though. Except I think he can still cut a decent promo.

No, I think he can cut a decent promo, he just never seems bothered anymore. It's been a while since I saw him cut a promo that really stood out to me, which is a shame as he used to be so good at them. I think it's just a case of him going through the motions in TNA these days.

Kurt Angle used to be the funniest wrestler by far (with Heel Steve Austin 2nd and Edge and Christian as a tag team 3rd - TEAM ECK). So many favorite Angle moments I have, I miss Kurt.
