De Niro, because I think he's a better actor and his film resume is more impressive.

De Niro but this was the toughest call to make thus far because as mentioned in the first round, Tom Hanks is the man.

I love Tom Hanks, I've find him entertaining in basically every film I've seen him in.

However, De Niro is simply a class apart and is my pick to win this tournament. Truly an elite actor. The Godfather, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Goodfellas... he's put in some of cinema's greatest performances in some of cinema's greatest ever films. My favourite of his is quite easily Taxi Driver though.

Favourite Hanks film: Toy Story technically, but in terms of an actual appearance, Forrest Gump. If Saving Private Ryan stopped after the first 20 minutes, that would be my favourite performance of his... but alas :lol

De Niro.

Since he is clearly going to win this round, I'd still like to give some adulation to Tom Hanks. He may not one of the most talented actors of all time, but he's starred in a handful of truly great films, constantly gives consistently solid performances, and seems like one of the most down-to-earth, cordial, and unpretentious actors working in the business today.
