So playing FM Classic on my PSP and now managing Stoke City after my unfair dismissal IMO (fuck you Ed Woodward) from Manchester United. They were rock bottom but thanks to my management, got 12 pts and edging outside the relegation zone.
I have to say, my enjoyment from managing Stoke is coming from the jammy, parking the bus, 1-0 victories I've obtained over teams in top half of the table. Not top four but your Everton/Hull etc.
Naturally, I didn't have the players to play attractive football but atm, I'm thinking only survival and I have to say, sneaking a 1-0 victory over a side is much more of a fucking joy than winning 5-0.
It kinda reminds me of the question snooker fans throw out, do you enjoy the safety play or someone racking up a 147? I'd probably say the former.
But anyhow, what gives you the most joy? It can be a FM story or even when you're playing on FIFA although I imagine employing a park the bus is rare on FIFA?
