The result tonight was amazing. I wish I could have watched it but I was at work. Hoping to catch the highlights somewhere. I could have gone tonight. I was looking to try and get tickets but decided against it when I knew I would have to work. I live about 20 odd minutes way from Milton Keynes. I have been to a few games at the stadium:MK before. Sometimes when me and some friends feel like watching a game of football, we will go there. The tickets aren't very expensive. I love MK. I go there as often as I can. I was just there this bank holiday weekend. So this is about as close as a home side beating Man United as it will get for me. What a day for the MK Dons.

Yeah, well we had no Rooney, RVP, Smalling. Only League Cup innit.

But no, you can accept the usual excuses for a League Cup exit but nothing can justify that ineptitude of a performance.

Poor selection by LVG. It's always tough when you have to carry the load of unperforming players, in Anderson's case, that's literally.

Meh, I'm off to bed.

For the record, MK Dons are the worst club in English football. They are nothing short of a franchise club void of any history with terrible plastic fans that jumped ship, having a nice stadium doesn't make you a good club. Milton Keynes as a place is just as terrible and is 99.9% roundabouts. I did however, enjoy my trip down there last season when Bradford beat them 3-2 in what proved to be the last win we had for like...two whole months.

Here's hoping. I always prefer our chances against better fancied teams though tbh, clubs down on their luck always do well against us. Looking forward to seeing the ground rocking, not looking forward to the potential violence that will occur tomorrow.

Is it OK to be an MK Dons fan if you never gave a shit about Wimbledon? Milton Keynes is an awesome place. Great nightlife. Beautiful women. Great shopping center. And I love the roundabouts. I don't know why people criticize that. The roundabouts just makes it easier to find your way around.

I mean I guess. Meaning this is no way to be a slight on you, MK Dons fans are pretty much all folk like yourself that fancy a 'fun day out' at the football without having any real passion for the club - not a fault of the people, a fault of the tyrants who destroyed a club with a tremendous history and replaced it with a fickle, money-fueled franchise.

I've actually been out in Milton Keynes before and I'll concede that the clubs I went too were a lot better than the ones around here but tbh everywhere in Britain has better nightlife than Bradford/Halifax. The roundabouts are horrible, you're mental!

Why would anyone pay £20million to loan a player

Suppose there is some truth to this. I mean, we were excited when the MK Dons started because it was a professional team with a decent stadium in a town we were familiar with. Bedford have a team but they are like, in the 8th tier of football or something like that. I know it's nice to support you home town team and I do keep and eye on their progress, it's nice to have a bigger team in a nice stadium. We are not huge MK Dons fans but we go now and then to, as you say, go and enjoy a football match.

Out of curiosity, do you remember the names of the places you went to on your night out in MK?

Rumours that United are preparing a bid for Vlaar, reportedly 7 million plus Danny Welbeck.

I'd take that.

Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe apparently having a medical with Norwich today. The commentary teams across the land had only just finished their sigh of relief at Van Wolfswinkel buggering off.

Be a good deal that, can't see Welbeck wanting to go to Villa though unless Keane can convince him. Hope Vlaar doesn't leave you though, looks to have something promising with Senderos.

Welbeck going to Villa might also mean he stops being selected for England ... so win win all around.
