Rooney named Manchester United captain with Fletcher vice-captain.

Firstly credit to Van Gaal that he has not given Rooney the job straight off and made him sweat and ultimately to earn the armband with performances. Rooney was the only real choice tbh when you think about it logically and I only hope that it's the making of him. Last summer, he played well at the start of the season and got his new deal. This summer, he's got the armband but hope unlike last season, he won't waver off. He simply has to lead from the front and luckily it's in his nature to put effort in whenever he plays so good luck to him. I'm more happy for Fletcher, really is an amazing journey considering his illness and how far just playing football seemed so far away.
