Hyrule Warriors

So I just watched Nintendo's Direct for Hyrule Warriors now and actually has me intrigued. The game looks nice but I'm afraid it'll just be me slashing my sword at lots of hordes of enemies. But I never really play this kind of game so I can't tell if it will be suited for me.

I would usually wait for the game to come out and wait for more reviews but Nintendo is doing pre-order bonuses (wtf Nintendo ) so I kind of want to make my decision beforehand. I would definitely pre-order if I was in Europe for this sick scarf but I'm from 'Murica which sadly doesn't offer it.

What are your opinions of the game so far and will you be getting it?

I see that it's taking a Dynasty Warriors route. I'll be looking to play it for sure,
