Nothing, he was just part of a bit of the ol' mind games from the Dutch coach who brought on a new GK at 119 minutes, psyching out the Costa Rican players for the upcoming penalties.

He wasn't 'psyching them out', he was straight up getting up in their face and trash talking, like a cunt.

Krul wasn't doing anything illegal, he was just being a twat.

And. The Game, you seem awfully mad after a win, guess Costa Rica wasn't the cake walk you proclaimed.

Didn't see the games yesterday. Spent the day at the races and then the pub when we got back - did I miss much?

^Argentina vs Belgium was boring, neither team did much after the early goal. Netherlands vs Costa Rica was in a lull until the 80th minute.

I think if he was trying to psyche out Brazilian players, Germans etc - probably wouldn't have been that big a fuss. But because he was "picking" on Costa Rican players, a team who had performed admirably and beyond expectations in the tournament and in that match, he was being a cunt. I don't really see it. In the end, the challenge was put back to the CR players to maintain their composure and score the penalties. Unfortunately, they couldn't. Although some of them did in spite of Krul's games so it could be done.

Regardless of who Krul was picking on, I wouldn't be a fan. Even if it was against United :P

It annoys me that now Neymar is injured, suddenly 'David Luiz Mania' has taken over.

They had a 10 minute biographical documentary on David Luiz on Sky Sports News earlier, featuring interviews with his godparents, his friends, and the narrator kept on repeating how he was a world class, incredible defender. Like, what the fuck? What brought this on?

Not only is he not half as good as what these people are saying, but no one gave a shit about him before Neymar was injured. FIFA and the media are just desperately trying to create another Brazilian posterboy, and it seems so horribly forced.

It's also hilarious how the Brazilian people were calling for the head of the player who injured Neymar, demanding he be banned/fined/punished etc... yet they spent the whole game kicking James Rodriguez around the pitch whenever he had the ball.

Typical Sky Sports News. Anything to fill air-time. Mourinho was probably laughing all the way to the bank when PSG insanely offered £50m - yes that's right, £50-fucking-million - for Luiz.

Brazilian players cry before the match, and after the match when they've been stuffed 7-1.

Unbelieveable last night. Brazil clawed their way through but a defeat on that magnitude, not inevitable considering their weaknesses.

Come on Holland!

Wouldn't blame Vlaar, had another solid game. Apparently, two players didn't want to take the first penalty hence Vlaar came in and his missed spot-kick set the tone.

Germany vs. Argentina - going for the Germans to do it. Rather they than Argentina tbh.

Vlaar has still been one of the best players in the whole tournament, regardless.

The Aston Villa School of Penalty Taking does need to improve though. Platt, Southgate, Vlaar...
