To be fair it WOULD add variety, and it would give the female characters something to do. Right now they are just eye candy and there are a lot of them.
Do we really need that bit of variety though? A cruiserweight division, a tag division, hardcore division, etc all bring something unique that you can't see on the rest of the card. There's nothing the women can do that you can't see with a regular men's roster. We might as well just have a British division where only British wrestlers can compete. It would be the same thing - nothing different except the people allowed to compete in it.
That's just my opinion though. The fact is, HardcoreLegend, Tim, saucernips, Daz, etc would all have to write for another character if we do the division. That adds more work for them and us the bookers, increases the chance of shows being late, all for little to no real payoff. And I disagree that right now the women are just eye candy:
Roxanne Moore - adds to Zanetti Family characters, in a storyline with Dylan
Gia - adds to Johhny V character, huge part of the recent Zaid/Johnny V feud
Alexa - adds to Andrew Logan character and his storyline
Melissa Chambers - adds to NRC characters
Onyx Jaden - adds to Matt Sears character, part of the Hess/Sears feud
Probably forgot someone, but anyway. Like I said before, if enough people are interested we will do it, but I stated the reasons I'm against it.

I'm up for this. There just hasn't been an opportune time to have a woman wrestle in PCW so far, but in the future, who knows.
