The Greens managed to get a seat in Poole which surprised me.

UKIP are getting like 2-3 seats each time though, they're storming ahead.

So I'm scrolling down my Twitter feed and noticed Piers Morgan retweeted someone abusing him as he always does.

I'm 100% sure it's @Camstud - am I right?

The image of Viazon and his equally odd mates all sat outside the supermarket eating chicken together in the car is too much :lol

I have somehow given Cam 32 reps, yet this still isn't enough for abusing Piers Morgan.

Holy shit, from the looks of it you only meant to give me 8 but I'll take it haha. Cheers.

As for Piers, it was incredibly satisfying.

It's a good jab - and well deserved - but surprised he retweeted it tbh. But good job, you didn't make a spelling mistake as that's his attempt at "humour".

Looking for some re-assurance folks, just found out my uncle has had a stroke.

Stunned by it at all. More so because at work, we held an event of Stroke Awareness and how important it's to check your blood pressure and to go to a hospital if it gets high etc.

He had it a few days ago but found out now. Hope he'll be OK and he called from hospital so a small good sign.

I re-assure myself that luckily we live in a time where things, from a health pov, have improved and people who suffer strokes/heart attacks can recover.

EDIT: Spoken to him abit ago, he's doing better - massive relief to hear that. He had it when he was driving, crashed into another car, frightening for him and the other party involved.

If he called from the hospital that's great news. My nan had a series of strokes over a number of years and was never the same after each one, her speech was always slurred and eventually she basically lost all movement in her left arm. If your uncle is phoning from the hospital and sounds/feels alright then luckily it doesn't sound too serious, but probably telling your family to brush up on the telltale signs of strokes from now on is a good idea incase it happens again, so you can catch it quickly.

Like Porky said, the fact he was able to call you is a very good sign. A stroke can be horrific, but it sounds like this hasn't been quite so severe. Keep us updated!

^Meh, Sam Cameron ain't all that.

In the politicians' wife stakes, Clegg's wife (Miriam Gonzalez) is numero uno. Apparently, she wears the trousers in the relationship - I'd love that!

Piers Morgan vs Joey Barton tonight on Question Time, seriously. I can't wait, it's going to be entertaining/hilarious regardless. Reckon Barton will be waaaaay out of his depth especially taking on someone as arrogant as Morgan but should be a good watch.
