I don't know because the scale at work got removed from the area since we are moving to a new building. That being said aesthetically I don't have any problems with where I think I am going! Its nice to see some bulk coming along, I want to cut and be more trim but I really can't if I wanna get bigger right now. It's hard to bulk enough as it is when my classes on Mon/Wed/Fri are much more cardio intensive. Slow gains man, slow gains.

Hey man, I NEVER use a scale. I go by appearance results only. The scale is just a measurement of gravity being pushed upon ya.

Yea, a lot of people put too much emphasis on the numbers. Counter productive especially knowing muscle weighs more than fat. I just like the check the numbers for fun.

Joining a new gym on Monday. I'll be saving money and the gym opens earlier and closes later than the one I go too now. Sacrificing the pool/jacuzzi/steam though :(

I've skipped the gym this past week to prepare for exams. And I'm going abroad next week so that'll be another week missed. But I'm still low in weight, I haven't gained any back. Much trimmer than I've been in a long time. I have clothes I bought a couple of months ago that are too big for me now.

I seem to be leveling off on the weight loss now though. I haven't lost much in a while. It might be time to consider changing up routines. I've been doing the same one for the last 6 months for the most part.

Nice hours, that would be perfect me for since I never use the pool or steam that mine provides :/ how often do you use them? Is the swimming pool part of your workout?

Good luck on the exams, and have fun on the trip. Don't sweat the missed days for things like this, I have missed a week or two and you don't really lose the muscle or lift less from something like that. It's only if you start missing days on a regular basis rather than a vacation here or there. 6 months of weight loss is good! Nice job. From my experience it's going to be much more about diet now to lose more, but that's just me, everyone's body is different.

I wouldn't class it as part of my workout. It's more of a relaxation thing. After working hard for a few hours it's always nice to wind down with a few lengths or a lounge in the jacuzzi. I don't actually like the steam room really, it's murder to breath in there; I just know it's apparently good for something.

Haha, yea breathing in the steam room when the fresh steam comes in is rough. Steam rooms are supposed to be good for a kind of cleanse purpose I believe. Also if you take a dip in cold water after the steam room its supposed to be good for your circulation.

Don't talk to me about diet, I'll probably be eating out for half of this trip. :lol Who wants to spend their vacation cooking their own meals, after all? :P

I'm comforting myself in the knowledge that I'll probably spend a good bit of time in the pool, which is some exercise at least. Plus with the heat over there, I'll likely sweat off plenty.

It'll be back to the usual routine once I return though, so I'm allowing myself to live guilt free during my vacation. Once I return, it'll be a hell of a lot easier to go to the gym now that I don't have to worry about studying at the same time. I've been doing study and gym on alternate days for the past few weeks (apart from the last week which was all study), so it's felt like I've had no time for myself. I wouldn't have thought it a couple of months back, but I'm looking forward to only having to do the gym part. :P

Vacations are a real thing? :o

While you can live guilt, I wouldnt overindulge. That's just me though. Also, the only thing you need to change is diet and up the intensity. No need to totally change a routine that works.

As for gym hours, mine never closes :D

So lets talk about intake and hunger. I don't know if its because I have been slightly letting myself eat more lately in hopes of more gains or what but, this is some real HUNGER I am having. I usually am able to curb my appetite with drinking copious amounts of water, because usually we're just thirsty, but it really aint helping. I am hungry, I drink, and I am not satisfied, I am very very hungry much more often.

Like I said, I have been allowing myself to eat a little more lately, trying to get over my fear of food, but does this happen to you guys? How often do you stray from your diet and what kind of results/effects does it have for you?

What kind of dieting you running? I went from "clean eating" to flexible dieting and it's so much better.

I just kinda eat at set times of the day, usually lunch (my breakfast) is at 11:30 or 12, usually consists of 2-3 eggs, some banana or zucchini bread, and some 2-3 strips of bacon. Water all day.

Dinner at 7ish, usually meat and rice. I should eat more veggies.

Looking at it this way it doesn't seem like a lot, but it really used to leave me content for the days. I kind of eat whatever as long as it generally isn't fast food, chips, or soda pop.
