Shame, I was enjoying seeing United fans suffer (sorry Aky :P )

Moyes is a decent manager but was never the man for the job. I'd take him at Villa though, I'd pick him up and drive him to Birmingham if necessary!

Betting has been suspended on whether he'll be there or not so it doesn't look good for him. Surprised to be honest I thought they'd give him more time. Sad though, I was enjoying his demolition job of the club, be interesting to see who replaces him if it does turn out to be true. Klopp? Van Gaal? MOTS Martinez? :D

I have read somewhere, that while it hasn't been confirmed, Manchester United are refusing to deny that he has been sacked.

I'm starting to wonder if Moyes was ever as good as people thought he was. I mean, he came to United with basically the same squad as Fergie had and has only really made two big signings, Fellaini and Mata, yet he has been unable to finish in the top four. Meanwhile, Roberto Martinez has gone to Everton with the same resources that Moyes had and may very well finish in the top four.

With that being said, once Moyes goes, and it's very likely that he will, who do you think will take charge at United?

:lol

I forgot that Glazer also owns Man U! Kind of funny considering the NFL team he owns (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) never accomplishes anything.

A couple of months ago, I felt the Glazers, despite their misgivings, would keep Moyes till the summer and allow him to re-build but a number of things have happened that have rocked their faith in him.

Firstly, the inescapable run of poor results that seen all kinds of records broken under his reign. Manchester City/Liverpool, both rivals in their own way, to beat us home and away and convincingly has been unacceptable. But also the timid performances at home to teams we should have beaten or not lost to, i.e West Brom, Everton, Spurs.

Moyes has shown sadly that he's still an Everton manager mentally. He's never given off an aura of confidence, always "try" and "we'll do our best" - not lifting the spirits of his team at all. His decision to axe the existing coaching staff was poor and has completely backfired with Round, Neville and Lumsden having the charisma of a grape. Also his alienation of a club legend, Giggs, has also been tough to stomach.

He's a nice bloke but this job, this massive job of re-building the squad needed an EXPERIENCED man someone who could handle all aspects of managing Manchester United. I felt from a couple of months ago that I didn't feel Moyes could spend the reported £200m transfer kitty wisely and felt a change was needed.

ATM, I'd love Klopp but I really feel he's into much in love with Dortmund to leave so I feel Louis van Gaal would be the ideal manager to come in to re-build; work with younger players and IMPROVE them; show discipline (namely to have the balls to drop Rooney when plays shit); and give our an aura of confidence.

I was more wounded that Giggs isn't known across the pond, man's a legend. Yeah Giggs is in charge for the last 4 games of the season where tbh they should win all four games. Klopp has issued a statement today reaffirming his commitment to Dortmund so the only real option they have is Van Gaal tbh. Between Van Gaal and Giggs in my opinion unless Mourinho pulls an NWO-type heel turn and ditches Chelsea.

If Mourinho turned heel and joined United it would be the greatest heel turn in Premier League history.
