Yeah, I think this week is that time.... oh my gooooaaaawwwwddddd.....

So for you learned folks who have read the books.

Who killed Joffrey?

I am personally hoping for a crossover and the culprit being Riddick.

I don't think poison is in Riddick's repertoire. He's more stab Joffrey and kill all the Kingsguard. I would like to see Riddick fight the Mountain though.

Riddick would pwn the Mountain.

So who killed the little cunt?

It was Tyrion, didn't you see them drag him away?

Haha. The actual answer (if I recall correctly) is that it was the Queen of Thorns, Margaery Tyrell's grandmother. Sansa's tiara or jewelry or something had little poisonous seeds or something inside of it, which she used to poison Joffrey.

Nice, I like Dame Judy Dench.

Shame about Riddick though.

Tim forgot to mention that Little Finger helped orchestrate it then helped Sansa escape. Also I think the poison in the jewelry were disguised as black stones.

Yeah but in the show Littlefinger has long since left King's Landing. Was that how it happened in the book too? I feel like LIttlefinger left earlier in the show than he did in the book.

Littlefinger was sent to work out an alliance with the crazy mountain chick who's name I forget at the moment and is Sansa's aunt. But ya Littlefinger is waiting in Blackwater Bay for Sansa after the Purple Wedding unfolds and brings her to his old stomping grounds in the Fingers so he knew what was up. At least that's how I remember it.

I don't recall exactly but I think he was supposed to go earlier and doesn't, instead sticking around to off Joffrey. He seemed to drift in and out for large portions of time. It's been a fair while since I read the books though, so I wouldn't take my word for it. Should probably re-read again at some point to refresh my memory.

We all die eventually.

But to answer your question, no she does not. At least not yet in the story. Bitch is like a fucking cockroach.

But seriously go read the books man. They are definitely worth the read.

I think I'm probably the one who read it most recently so if memory serves Littlefinger takes off for the Eerie but doesn't actually set off straight away. He instead waits for the royal wedding to have taken place and Dontos the Fool smuggles Sansa onto a ship where Baelish is waiting for her.

I think that's accurate. I know on the show Dontos tells her to go with him so I'm expecting the next episode to feature him getting her onto Littlefinger's ship.

She hasn't died yet, but by the end of the most recent book her reputation is in ruins, the church has stripped her of all her power and she's been locked up. Looks like the next thing to happen to her is that she's going to have someone fight for her freedom in a trial by combat. Of course she'll get free as a result though, because fuck Martin. :lol

That walk of shame she's forced to endure is epic. Can't wait to see how they handle that in the show. It's wonderfully brutal.

Don't know where else to post this. They've ventured further away from the books in the last Thrones episode and I loved it. That White Walker scene was awesome!

The whole final 20 minutes of the episode was intriguing. I don't recall Bran ever getting caught at Craster's house, so they must be trying to add stuff into his story to keep it from getting boring. And yeah, the White Walker stuff was pretty cool.

No he didn't but having him captured by the mutineers is more exciting than endless scenes of them merely travelling north. I don't think we're going to see Coldhands though :( I'm so intrigued to see whether Jon and Bran reunite briefly. Jon has Locke with him now too which I don't think happened in the books but I might be wrong.

That Walker scene was insane, that's the first look into the Walkers we've ever seen and the fact they had like some leader priest dude too!

From what I've heard Locke wasn't in the books at all.
