Which explains WWE's ever-climbing ratings, surely.

Wrestling isn't a traditional TV show that has a set fanbase that they need to keep happy until the end of the show's run. Wrestling counts on evolving their audience and doing what they do and whoever will watch will watch. Wrestling programs lose fans all of the time and they gain fans all of the time.

Come on, John. I know you've been Devil's Advocate for a lot of the WWE-hate in this forum and others for the better part of a decade now and you play your role well. But you're deliberately playing dumb at this point.

Did you hear the crowd last night when Batista won? I don't think a Royal Rumble winner has ever been shit on harder. As soon as Punk was eliminated and we were down to the final three, there were massive boos and no audible cheers. Once Sheamus was gone, the crowd started to rally 100% behind Reigns. Chanting his name and booing the shit out of Batista. No, there are not two children out there that loved this for every one fan that hated it. That's bullshit. You know it's bullshit. Lets all be honest here.

Thankfully I stopped watching because I started getting scheduled to work Monday nights.

Watched RR last night I'll try to catch Raw tonight but I'm sure the whole Batista winning the Rumble angle will make me glad that I work Monday nights.
