How old were you when you had your first beer?

I remember having my first sip of Budweiser at 13 and God did it taste horrible. I hardly drank beer after that. Did you like it your first time or did you have force yourself to like it?

Probably 14 or 15 my Dad offered me a bottle of Miller, hated it. I quite like lager now.

Probably around 7 or 8, snuck a sip from dad's Coor's. Hated it.

Still not big on beer these days, if I'm honest. It gets me full quicker than it gets me drunk. The only time I like beer is first thing in the morning after not having eaten much the night before. Pretty much ruins the whole day but damn it feels good from about 7 am to 12 pm.

I was 11 I believe, can't remember what beer I had, but I hated it, then Dad took it back and got a lager shandy, which I much preferred.

Probably about 14 or so. Was at a friends house for a New Years Eve party. The adults didn't notice we kept sneaking beers all night. Gotta love bad parenting. They soon figured in out when we were both throwing up by the end of the night.

Well I can remember sipping from my dad's beer when I was a kid and thinking it was gross. But in terms of actually drinking full beer(s)? Probably like 17, when I was a senior in high school. Coincidentally, that was also the first age at which I got drunk.

First sip? Around 10-12 somewhere in there. Didn't hate it but I always like harsher flavor and never was big on sweet things. As for actually drinking... 16. My friends dad would let us come over and we could drink all we wanted on the condition that if we as much as popped a top our keys were his until morning. He was a good guy. Yeah legally he shouldn't have been giving us alcohol, but he figured we would get it anyway and at least this way he could make sure we were being safe.

I was 19, I think. I got started on that train a bit later than most "rebels" and it also coincided with another big irresponsible moment of my life too. So get all that crap out of the way at once, I suppose.

Honestly, I didn't really care to drink much until I actually turned 21. I didn't enjoy the taste of beer until then. I've always seen beer as a stockholm syndrome kind of thing. Everyone hates beer, but they've been told all their lives to like it so they learn to. That's how I feel anyway. :chug

I was 19. I got some alcohol from my parents super young, they wanted me to try it cause they knew I wouldn't like it. I didn't like it. I was probably about 5 or so.

The story I've been told (because I don't remember it exactly) was my dad was drunk, and offered me, a 4 year old, some of his Budweiser. So, I drank some, and apparently liked it and started drinking it more before my mother caught me, slapped my dad, and put me to bed.

Yeah, it was one of my mom's favorite stories to tell, but probably because of the slapping my dad part vs the me drinking beer part. lol.
