With City's win, Arsenal vs Chelsea is going to be a huge game.

Welbeck on the score-sheet again?! Really hoping he carries it on - with RVP out with injury, he's got a tremendous chance to show he can score goals alongside his work-rate. Normally his finishing deserts him.

Januzaj and Young are other unexpected goal-scorers, former continuing to show his promise and the latter maybe, hitting some form so he doesn't get shipped out in January but he will be gone in the summer I reckon.

Suarez - hard to admit but best striker in the world atm. He really should break the goal-scoring record in the PL which is 31 I believe held jointly by Ronaldo and Shearer.

City survive a scare - apparently Kompany's goal was hilariously brilliant.

Watched Class of 92 today on my train home... definitely a must see for any football fan, great story of how they became the players they are and all the behind the scenes stories!

The footballing world's tremendous support of Malkay Mackay has forced Vincent Tan into a humiliating u-turn. Cardiff announce the ultimatum has been taken off the table for the foreseeable future and rightly so.

What exactly was his reasoning into wanting to get rid of him? Haven't really been paying to much attention to the whole thing.

Also, as I was typing this, Everton scored. Great strike by Coleman.

The only reasoning I can think of is that he just doesn't like him and wants to bring his own people in. Tan is an idiot and you've the fans have had enough. I'm surprised they didn't riot when he changed the team's colour from blue to red. He changed them from the bluebirds to the red dragons in order to make the club more marketable in Malaysia. I know I'm being ignorant to a lot of things here, namely financial benefits, but who the fuck cares whether or not Malaysians like Cardiff?

Has he really got skin-head? From a vague picture I've seen, don't suit him at all!

Anyone remember I spoke about my mate who's doing his dissertation on footballers, and has got quite a few players' numbers?

He scheduled a meeting with former Saints and Stoke defender Danny Higginbotham in Manchester, travelled a 250 mile journey for it and hired out a conference room for an interview to take place. Higginbotham never showed up :lol

My mate was majorly pissed off but sees the funny side of it now. Banter at the pub tonight was excellent.

Ouch. He was probably playing for that far-away island that Higginbotham now plays for.

I'd send him the travel bill as did the photographer who had his camera busted by Hull's Jake Livermore during the latter's goal celebration yesterday.

Thought it was decent of him to say he'll repair the photographer and then match the money and give £6000 to Tom Huddlestones charity

I said to my mother yesterday that Malky's played a very smart game, provoking the bear so to speak, putting these problems out in the public. He's garnered the support of the football world (not to mention Cardiff fans), put the spotlight on Tan to the point where there's no way Tan could have fired him without looking foolish. Very clever stuff indeed.

That being so, Tan even thinking about firing Malky after the job he's done at Cardiff is ludicrous.

Yeah whether he would have done so had the photographer not tweeted him after the game to a response to his post-match tweet, doubt it but good on him for the donations to the Huddlestone charity.

My Saints supporting mates reckon that if Chelsea want Luke Shaw, Saints should get 50 million plus Romelu Lukaku and Ryan Bertrand in exchange :lol
