Some people are presuming Rollins or Ambrose will win the Money in the Bank briefcase and that it'll be on the line again in this match. I really hope that they don't do this. It's such a contrived idea, and they go back to it constantly. I wouldn't mind if they ever came up with a good reason for the briefcase holder to put it on the line, but they never do. There's no reason for someone to just give away an opportunity at a title shot. It's stupid.
Here's a few predictions for what might be on the card:
WWE TITLE MATCH - Daniel Bryan vs Kane: This doesn't sound that entertaining, but it makes sense from a storyline perspective. If Bryan is ready for Summerslam then getting the title back on him is probably going to be the priority and it makes sense for him to beat the person who put him out of action. If they don't want it to be Kane then they could use Orton or Triple H as the transitional champ instead, so it's somebody from the Authority but I think that Kane makes the most sense.
Triple H v Roman Reigns: This is the most obvious match to me. Not in that it will definitely happen, but in that it definitely should. It could help put Reigns on the map working with a big name like Triple H; the veteran can help guide him through a singles match without making him look sloppy and if Reigns wins then it's a huge feather in his cap without putting him in a position that he's not yet ready to deal with.
Rollins v Ambrose: It just makes sense to get a bit of mileage out of this feud and Summerslam would be a good place to end it. I don't agree with the idea of putting the Money in the Bank contract on the line if one of them have it, but the match itself still sounds like the best idea. If one of them does have the Money in the Bank contract then maybe the other one could win this match so that they can both leave the feud with the potential to move further up the card.
John Cena vs Brock Lesnar: I don't give a shit about this match, but I think it might happen. I don't think it'll happen for the title, but given the lack of faces on the roster right now, if they want something for Lesnar to do then they almost have to pair him with Cena. Bryan is the only alternative. A match with Bryan would have been superior, but there isn't time to build to it anymore. There isn't a lot of time to put the title on either of them and even if they managed it, then it would mean two transitional title reigns in quick succession, which doesn't sound like something they would do or like anything I would appreciate really.
Paige vs Who the Fuck Cares: There'll be a women's match and nobody will give a damn. I think they probably wanted to revisit Paige vs AJ which could have been enjoyable, but now that looks less likely. And there's nobody else who's even remotely interesting. It might be one of the Bellas or something, I don't know. Who gives a fuck anyway?
Dust Brothers vs Wyatt Family: Makes sense as a feud. I wouldn't be surprised if Bray Wyatt doesn't have a match at the pay per view and just cuts promos and stays at ringside for this match.
Rusev vs Sheamus: This could happen and nobody would care. But they're still building Rusev and it seems inevitable that he'll get a match at Summerslam. In fact, I'd go as far as to predict that if Lesnar doesn't return for Summerslam, Rusev will probably fight Cena.
The show is so lacking in faces at the moment that I reckon some of the biggest heels will be left without matches on the show. Guys like Randy Orton, Kane or Bray Wyatt could very easily fall through the cracks here. It's an awkward position for WWE to be in.
