R.I.P. Brian Griffin - you will be missed

Postby Westcoastvibes » Nov 25, '13, 8:55 pm

Yes you read the topic right.
After 12 seasons and 216 episodes the Family Guy writers have officially killed off the beloved Brian Griffin.

Last night Brian was ran over by a speeding car and died later at the vets office with his last words being "I love you all, Thank You"

Related in the episode, stewie dismantled and destroyed his time machine prior to Brian's death and is unable to rebuild it, so a quick time travel to save Brian's life is not happening.

:'( He was such a great character. Him and Stewie were hilarious together.

Man I always think you can't get more weird and then you say something else :lol

The image of Viazon and his equally odd mates all sat outside the supermarket eating chicken together in the car is too much :lol

Eh, as Family Guy slowly declined in quality he went from being the straight man/voice of reason to Condescending Pretentious Ultra-Liberal Douchebag.

Still, kind of a bizarre decision. I haven't watched the show in years but it'd be weird having it without him.

Fox/Family Guy got what they wanted right now, Family Guy for me has been poor for awhile and I think on the cusp of declining and losing viewers because well... it's boring, something like this got so much media attention and raised so much spark in the program people may start tuning in again to see what happens.

Some upcoming episode titles would suggest he'll be back before long.
