Star Wars or: Viazon finally watches popular movie franchises

Talk about movies and television in here!

Re: Star Wars.

It sucks that I'll never be able to watch the original versions of the original trilogy ever again. I still have them on VHS before the first special editions came out, but my VHS player has been broken for quite some time and I don't think the market for VHS tapes is going to rocket any time soon.

Can't you just get like a 10 dollar VCR off of E-bay or something? My wife still buys cheap VCR's to transfer VHS to digital using her PC (old tapes really gunk up VCR's though, so she goes through them).

I'll admit it; I'm just too lazy to do that.

So after watching the Star Wars movies I thought I would take advantage of my time off to watch other movies I haven't yet seen. I consider myself to be a movie buff but there are a considerate about of well known movies I have yet to actually see.

The next on my list is the Alien franchise. I have the entire box set on DVD and have always intended to watch them but never got around to it. I watched Alien last night. I will watch Aliens tonight.

The next on my list after that will be Indiana Jones. Yes, I have also never watched any Indiana Movies. I will though.

The Alien franchise is mostly shite.

Indiana Jones is great, don't bother with the fourth one though.

I liked the first Alien but by the last I was scratching my head and asking myself, outloud, "How the fuck did this get so popular?"

Alien is good but after the first one you're just kinda like....wut?

Indiana Jones is amazing.

Get yaself some John Wayne movies while you're at it.

You're all crazy. The second Alien film (Aliens) is definitely the best one. After that, however, they're nothing special.

That's kind of you, but...eh. It's alright.

I know this thread is about Viazon entering the wonderful world of Star Wars but I think me and Locke are now at war. Kinda like the Rebels and Empire. Except I'm the rebels because I'm the good guy.
