Labour leadership race

Postby AkydefGoldberg » Jul 24, '15, 2:00 pm

Not been keeping that much up to date but heard about Jeremy Corbyn being the least favourite to win yet an opinion poll puts him ahead by 6pts to his nearest nomination candidate and Labour, unfortunately, are bricking it that they nominated Corbyn just to offer a wide depth of candidates and now the nominated "loser" could, shockingly, win.

This piece was good to read on the weakness of Burnham; Kendall was off putting when she said she wouldn't have voted for Palestine in a recent UN vote; but hope Corbyn wins but seems Labour will fuck him up with their fear mongering.

Also, here's Kay Burley, getting owned by a Labour MP.

Everything I hear about Jeremy Corbyn makes me like him and I feel like he would be the kind of leader that could get people voting for Labour again. The idea that most of the party is so appalled at the idea he could win that they will break away and form their own party is laughable.
