Heh, we were just having this discussion in the chat.
As a PC guy the console that looks the best is the Wii U, it has the biggest selection of exclusive games currently out (Splatoon, Smash 4, Mario Kart 8, Bayonetta 2, The Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3, Mario 3D World) making up a very solid library and a fantastic companion to a gaming rig. It also has a load of upcoming games like Super Mario Maker, Yoshi's Wooly World, Star Fox Zero, Xenoblade Chronicles X and the new Zelda.
These are all truly exclusive and you can't get them anywhere but the Wii U. The only drawback of the system is that exclusives are all it has. As a companion to a PC, it's fantastic as the only reason to have a console is for exclusives and the Wii U has the best ones. If it is going to be your only console, though, consider that third party support for the system will be weak. Even with that in mind it's a damn fine system and I would heartily recommend getting one.
If it is going to be your only gaming system, probably go PS4. It has the next best looking selection of exclusives while still having the crucial third party support you would miss out on with the Wii U. Bloodborne, inFamous: Second Son, Killzone Shadow Fall and upcoming games like The Last Guardian, Uncharted 4, Ratchet and Clank, Street Fighter V*, Shenmue 3* and Horizon: Zero Dawn are all the kind of thing I want to get my hands on. It's also objectively the most powerful system and in the console spectrum it will have the best performance.
Compare that to the Xbox One. Currently they have things like Killer Instinct*, Dead Rising 3*, Sunset Overdrive, Ryse: Son of Rome*, Ori and the Blind Forest* and D4* currently out. They also have things like Gears 4, Halo 5, ReCore, Sea of Thieves and Cuphead*.
The PS4 offerings look more appealing to me. Bloodborne is the pick of the lot, it's a wonderful game. The most exciting upcoming release from my point of view is Horizon, another PS4 only game.
I should mention that I'm not including re-releases in this, there are a fair few on each platform, things like Wind Waker HD on the Wii U, Master Chief Collection and Gears Ultimate Edition* on the Xbox, Last of Us Remastered and the Nathan Drake Collection on the PS4 among others.
If you were wondering what the asterisks next to some game names meant, those games are console exclusives, not true exclusives. This basically means that while those games can not be found on any of the other consoles, they are also available on PC, I know you're probably wanting a console but I felt it was worth mentioning anyway.
