For those of you like me who can't take tea or coffee etc. until they have significantly cooled, I read something the other day that changed my life.

What you do is you make your drink like usual in the cup, then instead of sitting there with your nuclear hot cup and waiting for it to become drinkable, what you do is you pour it into another cup or, as I did, a measuring jug.

The pouring back and forth helps the drink to cool rapidly, allowing those of us without heat resistance of superhuman proportions to enjoy hot beverages in a much more immediate way.

I had an ice cube tray but it has become one with the freezer and is no longer available for my needs.
