Anyone doing anything for Valentine's Day?

Postby Everlong » Feb 13, '15, 9:17 am

The lady and I aren't particularly keen on doing anything huge for the day, we'll probably make a nice dinner but no plans to go out anything.

I'm in a cabaret, playing a depressed alcoholic luchadore. Should be a fun night, plus I get to drink on stage

Wife will be at parents for some boring thing I don't have to (nor want to) attend to, so I'll be on the lonely masturbation station wagon as well.

Hopefully I can just spend the day playing games with whom I have interest in. We aren't together but I'd love to just spend time with her and maybe give her an extremely light hearted gift, but I probably wont give her anything hahhaha.

I'm going out shopping for my wedding ring with Kirbi tomorrow. It was around this time last year that I was losing my mind trying to pick a ring for her before proposing, so it seemed fitting to go out and get me one this year instead of doing gifts.

After that, we'll be coming home and hopefully watching Ireland giving France a good trouncing in the rugby.

Then we're going out to our favourite Thai restaurant tomorrow night, for some dinner and cocktails. My mouth is already salivating at the prospect of it.

BOO THIS MAN BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I'm wearing my French jersey to the pub tomorrow morning to drink some beers, make them regret their breakfast buffet and watch some rugby. With all the Irish and English fans in the city, and on my team, I expect a good heckling but such is life. Even if the French lose it should at least be a better game than the ass whooping that England will give Italy right before.

We're the favourites, but you never really know with France. Sometimes they show up, sometimes they don't. We have the benefit of playing with our "strongest" team in the last couple of years, with a bunch of guys back from injury. But the downside of that is that there's going to be a lot of rust this week. I still reckon we take it, but probably not by much.

Not since school, used to be pretty good though. Not really sure what to expect from this, the night's being headlined by a guy called Professor Elemental, a steampunk rap artist :lol

We made a trailer for it too, which strangely has less views than the amount of tickets we've sold already

Nothing special, I got my OH a humorous card and some chocolate that he likes (so cliché :lol ) that I saw on a whim a couple of weeks ago, they only tend to sell these specific chocs around Christmas time so I thought I'd pick him up a box before they sold out. He saw them when I was unpacking the shopping so he knows I've got them for him. He's not got me anything, we don't really 'do' valentines day. Apart from that we're spending most of tomorrow running errands and doing boring necessary stuff like going to the bank and post office. We will probably come home and OH will want to watch the rugby, my mum I think is coming to visit at some point and I'm making pizza for dinner with the help of little one. Definitely a very run of the mill sort of day for us!

Got us a hotel room for the night with a deluxe spa and 24-hour room service. It's also a three minute walk from the beach.

Naff all.

Old man's going away so airport maybe tomorrow and other than that FA Cup is on, and probably prepping for staying awake until 3.30am and beyond (until 9am possibly) watching the cricket World Cup, specifically India v Pakistan.

Valentine's Day is another day for me, that's all.
