Why are we hating on barber shops? I enjoy going to the barbers, especially when they really take pride in what they do - there was an old fashioned barbershop where I went to uni who always did a pretty good job, and they'd often give you a straight razor shave on the back of your neck. It was awesome. I'd much rather prefer that than going to a salon and getting an overpriced cut from a college-dropout beautician.
As for my job, I enjoy some aspects of it. I only started last Tuesday, so there's plenty of time for that to change

I work for the city council's travel department, and I liaise with local schools to organise safe and sustainable transport for children. It's a good cause, and I enjoy being a part of it - though today I made about 70 outgoing phonecalls back to back, and I began to seriously consider jumping out the window.
