Your 3 waypoints

Shamelessly, this is an idea I took from reddit, but I feel like the people here can be very creative and I was curious what kind of answers would pop up from you all.

You are allowed to set three "waypoints" anywhere in the world between which you can instantly and infinitely teleport. Where do you set them?

1. Only you can use these waypoints, and you must be at a waypoint before choosing which of the other two you would like to travel to.

2. You must first travel to the location by normal means before setting the waypoint. Waypoints are based on a location only and are not attached to an object (they aren't port keys.)

3. You cannot change any of the waypoints once set, though they are automatically adjusted to accommodate obstructions. You won't accidentally die, harm/kill someone, or damage/destroy anything by using a waypoint.

4. Traveling costs no money or energy, and has no negative effect on you or anyone else.

Alright, I've had some time to think about this but my answer depends on the answer to this question:

Am I allowed to grab onto someone and have them teleport with me? Or am I the only one with the ability to teleport?

If I can't bring anyone else, then I guess I'd use it for purely practical reasons. I'd have one way point at home, one in my Mum's house or somewhere in my old home town. And the last one would probably be in America, so I could visit my brother and his family.

Okay, thought about it and here is my answer.

Practicality trumps all.

I live in a area with a low cost of living, please make note of that.

One in my house, second would be in a place with a high cost of living/high pay scale like NY. I would have a job there and transfer home at night. Idea is I would make big money but live in a small money town maximizing my income.

Third, tough one... somewhere in so cal

I also find this to be extremely difficult. I only know 1 waypoint would be in Shinjuku station of Japan, its basically a central location to all trains for wherever you may want to go.

But I have no idea where my safe spot WP would be that I generally always have access to, typically it would be home, but I am planning to buy a house soon so it would no longer be my home then...

No idea where the third would be either.
