James Corden to replace Craig Ferguson on the Late Late Show

Wow, pretty big move for Corden - good for him. Can't see him doing well at the role though, he's not nearly high profile enough to compete directly opposite Seth Meyers. Though I'm not a Yank, so I really don't know who's well liked and who isn't.

Ferguson will be a tough act to follow and I personally felt he should of been Letterman's replacement, I've always like Craig, he seemed to be one of the few tv hosts who had proper class about him, I remember seeing the Boston bombings monologue and I always like that he spoke he thoughts and not spewed the same safe stuff the others did.

Corden is a decent enough host when in the right environment, he is fantastic on League of Their Own, how he'll handle this type of show will be interesting because he isn't a huge name within TV in america, he had a stint on broadway & won a Tony for his trouble aswell.
