World Cup Sweepstakes - The Draw

Ok, we had 27 members in the draw, out of 32 places - as we are 5 places short, what I've done is taken William Hill's odds for the overall tournament winner and left off the bottom 5. This would also prevent a good team being left out the list in the randomising process and instead a shitty team getting in, and would make the tournament more competitive. Iran, Honduras, Costa Rica, Algeria and Australia have been cut from the competition. Australia have the same odds of winning as Cameroon, but are lower in the FIFA world rankings, so Cameroon proceed through to the draw.

I randomised both lists 27 times, and afterwards matched the final standings for the names and teams together.

I got Mexico, I suppose it could have been worse. It's a tough group but second place in the group is for grabs in my opinion. It's a pity that whomever finishes second in this group most likely wont make it through to the quarter finals though, ha!
