No idea what to say about the Almond milk vs Cow milk comparison. I have had almond milk, soy milk, normal milk, and whatever because some people in the family are lactose intolerant but I am not, so I just kind of drink whatever. Sometimes I will have milk not long before I call it a day because it has slower processing protein and is supposedly better to digest and be used for the body during rest but who knows... From what I remember almond milk (or maybe it was normal milk now I can't remember) has a lot of sugar added or something, I avoid sugars more than fats personally. I kind of feel like people are being scientific health nuts and are taking it really far. Its like saying drinking cold water is better for weight loss because the body has to work to heat the water up in your body while it uses it. I mean sure it makes sense, but does it really make or break any situation? Does it really make that big of a difference? I feel like people are overly critical on some of this and it doesn't need to be this crazy or complicated...
Raw almond milk is the best, IN MY OPINION. The way I look at it, pasteurized/homogenized milk does more harm than good. Yes we are taught that milk builds strong bones and such but if it was so good for us, why are we weened off of breast milk after being babies for so long? Cows milk is 15% protein and breast milk is 5%, and much of the ideas that cow's milk is good for us comes from being tested on rats. We are not rats the last I checked. It's terrible how as a society we've been thoroughly mistaught on calcium and protein. The government says we should take an extra 30% of protein, just to be "sure" that we get our intake. You know who gets that 30%? The dairy industry., as their income increases by 30%. I'm not asking you to change your ways or give up milk if you really like, but you gotta consider all the downfalls of it. Of course that goes for everything in life tho

The pros and cons of pasteurized milk can be seen here, albeit not much info, short but sweet read:
http://www.care2.com/greenliving/pros-a ... ation.htmlAs for homogenized milk, its basicallt keeping the cream from separating and allowing for lighter taste and longer shelf life. Some people claim that nonhomogenized is healthier and more nutritious while others claim to get the shits from it.

Like I said, two sides for everything but thats my take on milk
