Oh t-backs.

Never heard them called racer backs before. Mind you I'd never wear one of them so I haven't had to look.

Nothing. I just like wearing a racerback and then a hoodie. If I get too hot, I pull the hoodie off. Then when Im drenched in sweat at the end, I can hop out of the racerback instead of fighting a sweaty ass normal shirt lol

Didn't really like the corporate article. It's extremely biased and in my opinion a no brainer. It is very common for corporate to do whatever it takes to make profits and corner competitors and get ahead of the game. That's what makes their world go round, numbers. I don't really support the idea of them wanting to hide what they put in the food, all the information should be out there for everyone to acknowledge and make their own choices in what they purchase, but if what they put in their food was truly linked to cancer in humans, I doubt they would be allowed to use it. I just didn't like that article.

No idea what to say about the Almond milk vs Cow milk comparison. I have had almond milk, soy milk, normal milk, and whatever because some people in the family are lactose intolerant but I am not, so I just kind of drink whatever. Sometimes I will have milk not long before I call it a day because it has slower processing protein and is supposedly better to digest and be used for the body during rest but who knows... From what I remember almond milk (or maybe it was normal milk now I can't remember) has a lot of sugar added or something, I avoid sugars more than fats personally. I kind of feel like people are being scientific health nuts and are taking it really far. Its like saying drinking cold water is better for weight loss because the body has to work to heat the water up in your body while it uses it. I mean sure it makes sense, but does it really make or break any situation? Does it really make that big of a difference? I feel like people are overly critical on some of this and it doesn't need to be this crazy or complicated...

Raw almond milk is the best, IN MY OPINION. The way I look at it, pasteurized/homogenized milk does more harm than good. Yes we are taught that milk builds strong bones and such but if it was so good for us, why are we weened off of breast milk after being babies for so long? Cows milk is 15% protein and breast milk is 5%, and much of the ideas that cow's milk is good for us comes from being tested on rats. We are not rats the last I checked. It's terrible how as a society we've been thoroughly mistaught on calcium and protein. The government says we should take an extra 30% of protein, just to be "sure" that we get our intake. You know who gets that 30%? The dairy industry., as their income increases by 30%. I'm not asking you to change your ways or give up milk if you really like, but you gotta consider all the downfalls of it. Of course that goes for everything in life tho :lol

The pros and cons of pasteurized milk can be seen here, albeit not much info, short but sweet read: http://www.care2.com/greenliving/pros-a ... ation.html

As for homogenized milk, its basicallt keeping the cream from separating and allowing for lighter taste and longer shelf life. Some people claim that nonhomogenized is healthier and more nutritious while others claim to get the shits from it. :lol

Like I said, two sides for everything but thats my take on milk :P

Ill consider getting the Almond milk since people in the house are lactose intolerant. I wonder what the difference from almond milk to something like the Lactaid milk is.

I was checking out reddit and the /fitness section, I have been a long time subscriber to that spot and it has recently become a default subreddit, so some new topics are kind of coming up and someone asked about Crossfit. Someone linked to this article and it pretty much sums up my opinion on the matter, not all, but mostly I agree. I was wondering what anyone else here thought of crossfit and if they like it, disagree with naysayers etc.

http://www.t-nation.com/training/crossf ... d-the-ugly
TL:DR Crossfit encourages people to work hard for results. Exercise is for today’s benefit, training is a plan for the future goal and Crossfit is exercise. Crossfit has a strong community bond. Short term Crossfit relies on high stress and muscle confusion, which loses effect over time. Crossfit is a fad cash-train and certifies good and bad instructors. Crossfits biggest issue is injuries, but more that to them injuries are accolades.

But I encourage you to read the article since it is from someone who was part of Crossfit and left. I am just looking at it from the outside since I never bothered to join Crossfit myself.

There is nothing wrong with ELITE crossfit, ya know, like RIch Froning level. I want the Crossfit Games all the time/ However it's the douchebags wearing bandanas, shitty level 1 coaches opening up gyms and calling them "boxes" and doing kipping pullups that really grind my gears.

Dom Mazzetti said it best...

I am cursed with a love for salty foods. Sweets aren't much of a problem though. Although there is a doughnut (maple bar) sitting right in front of me at my desk. Since I work in an office someone brings in doughnuts and is like AYE ERRYONE COME GET SOME and if you don't they get offended....
