I'd imagine Welbeck could go up top as his hold up play is better than Hernandez. Plus his pace might cause their back two a few issues. Young could come in on the left to support Buttner/Evra vs. Robben.

Don't joke about toes. RVW was injured for 9 weeks with a toe injury. Completely cocked up his season.

I look forward to the shit storm of Norwich fans calling for Hughton's head, despite the fact its been the inept performances of the likes of Wes Hoolahan that have contributed to this fucking god awful performances.

Had 70% of the possession in the first half, 69% of that came outside our own penalty area.

I want Lambert and Lerner out. It's an opinion I've held for a while, but after 3 back to back losses including two maulings and now a loss to a team at the bottom of the table, feel like expressing it.

I just don't see what Paul Lambert's grand plan is. I don't think he even has one. It's just a good job there are a few shitter clubs than us this season. Let's have a look at his signings:

Luna - average at best.
Helenius - barely played.
Tonev - one of the worst players I've seen in a Villa shirt ever. No exaggeration.
Bacuna - good at attacking, but poor defensively, where Lambert plays him.
Okore - injured, barely played.
Kozak - injured, barely played.
Steer - never played.
El Ahmadi - poor.
Bertrand on loan - good, but won't stay.
Holt on loan - poor, immobile, lummocks of a striker.
Lowton - has regressed since last season.
Vlaar - mostly average.
Bennett - utter shite.
Bowery - utter shite.
Westwood - consistently average.
Benteke - good, but like Lowton has regressed.
Sylla - poor.

Combined, the total he paid for these players was around 40 million.

The existing players at the club, such as Weidman, Clark and Albrighton have gone backwards in their development under Lambert too. Today we played two right backs, two left backs, one centre midfielder and Grant Holt. I've witnessed some dark, dark days at Villa and even then we had a team of better quality than this one. Fulham have done the double of us over this season, and today won for the first time at Villa Park since 1966. Rodallega hasn't scored for 15 months, yet finds the net today. Three times this season we've lost to a team at the bottom of the table at the time we played them.

Lambert just seems to be a 'filler' manager. There is no big plan, no aspiration - he's just there to keep the books balanced and Lerner is happy with that. Lerner doesn't want to invest in the club, that's plan to see - he sold the Cleveland Browns for over a billion dollars and hasn't invested a penny of it in Villa. It's just such a frustrating time. I highly doubt Villa will go down this season, but we're in trouble regardless.

Lerner needs to go, and so does Lambert. Things can't continue like this.

At least you guys are sucking in the top league. Bradford are just bad, battered by a relegation fighting third tier team. I'm sad today :(

I'd have to agree with you Porky on Lambert. I thought his premise was this idea of bringing forward a younger, vibrant Villa team but it's not really happened because his signings besides Benteke haven't been great. He definitely seems to be Lerner's favourite because he won't, unlike O'Neill, moan about not having any money and seems comfortable with the financial restrictions in place.

4-0 win over Newcastle today, Mata in the goals. Bayern lose their 53 game unbeaten run in the league so come on United for the German mission!

Also to note, Rotherham beat Gillingham 4-3 with a hat-trick from a Tom Hitchcock, scored the winner in the last minute and now 4pts behind second spot for promotion.

Honestly mate the fuckers never seem to lose, I'm not even being dramatic either. Bradford and Rotherham supporters consider each other to be their respective main rivals' for the League and the fact fat boy Evans is your gaffer doesn't help as he has history with us. So I'm always looking for you lot to lose and you never fucking do!

Ironically next Friday on Sky Sports 2 it's Rotherham vs Bradford so all you lads can watch how shit we as when the Millers spank us.

When Evans was at Crawley he exposed himself to a female member of staff as 5 players got sent off during the game for fighting. He's always been disparaging towards the club too, the guy is just a grade-a bellend and always has been. Bradford have been pure shite the last two games + Rotherham never lose = me killing myself next Friday.

Aww, I love OGS but fear for him at Cardiff. He's got no experience of a relegation dog-fight with a temperamental owner and I think he's being abit too nice atm. He's coming across that way and whilst managing players in Norway (who are less money and more humbler) is easier it doesn't help managing the modern day PL player. Also, don't get why he let Odemwingie go and bring a striker who can't score for shit (Jones).

Oh right, so yes it could be a tempestuous affair on Friday. I knew he had a troublesome rep but who cares, he's getting the job done! At this rate, he could over-take Ronnie Moore as the contemporary Rotherham manager legend status.
