I genuinely think Rooney will leave. He's expressed a desire to leave twice before, everyone knows he's not a big fan of Moyes and he'll want to continue playing Champions League football, which United probably won't get this season.

Not so sure he'll leave if he's offered the 300,000 a week we've put on the table (just for the record - don't agree with it and I'm sure Stretford is knocking one out in happiness at the thought of it) but still think he could go if we don't get fourth as he'll have a legitimate excuse to leave but tbf, if he left, I'd be content as we've got Mata who is a better number ten than Rooney for me. He gets on well with Moyes to the contrary. They had a bust up after he left Everton in which Moyes sued him but that was resolved and Moyes' work with Rooney has been so extensive that even team-mates were reported to be unhappy at how much butt kissing Moyes was doing to Wayne.

Wayne and his agent love the pound signs and if we offer a £300,000 wage and the chance for him to break the goal-scoring record; not play CL for a year then I think he would. But again, not fussed if he left.

I'm completely and utterly speechless. 4-0 up after 20 minutes.

This is prison shower room style domination.

At this rate it could easily end up 6 or 7-0.

I've held up my end of the agreement. Now, if you will excuse me, I'm going to go out and get very drunk tonight, possibly buy a kebab on the way home then watch The Jungle Book.

^LOL!

It could have been another 8-2 tbh. It's February so just in time to see annual Arsenal crumble - always a very small crumb of comfort considering United's woes this season.

Another disappointing result. So many chances and corners for that matter but no goal to show for it.

Being 2 points behind Chelsea is fine, as long as we bounce back and get out of this funk. Plenty of winnable games in the Premier League coming up. Not worried much about Arsenal as they have a very tough schedule over the next month or so. Chelsea worries me a little as they seem to be catching fire at the right time. I am confident that once Fernandinho, Aguero, and Nasri are all back, things will be back to normal.

^Thought City would bounce back today but a draw could spark a dip in form until their players return.

Chelsea top and Mourinho will still play his mind-games of "not in the title". Nice ploy - if he wins it he praises his players unbelieveably whilst nuanced criticism for Arsenal/Chelsea/Liverpool and if he doesn't he can say he said that ages ago.

Hazard hat-trick - playing really well atm.

norwich were excellent against man city today. fully deserved the point and for a while there it felt like one we might just go on and nick. Toure was fucking horrendous man city and should have been sent off from where i was sitting, kicking RVW. referee was absolutely atrocious throughout and didn't give us fucking anything.

Toure's kick was nothing. It was embellished so much.

embellished or not, he's deliberately kicked him when he's on the ground, nowhere near the ball. that's a blatant whether RVW made the most of it or not.

and that wasn't the first time in the game a man city player got away with something like that. milner went for redmond three or four times in the first half alone and didn't get booked until like the 70th minute. fer got absolutely clattered in the middle of the pitch when norwich were trying to counter. the man city player literally hooked his ankle and flipped him inside out. no yellow card. tettey nudges someone from behind to prevent man city catching us on the counter attack, ref couldn't have got his yellow card out sooner. it was shockingly inconsistent.
