So when will everyone start watching again?

Talk about what's going on in the WWE in this forum!

I hardly felt motivated to watch RAW when the product is even OK. I have watched I think 1 full RAW since WrestleMania 29.

However, I will admit. I am interested in what they do tomorrow in trying to convince fans that Batista/Orton is going to be an even remotely interesting match. Batista winning the Royal Rumble in 2014 is just dreadful.

What smugness? I really am watching tomorrow night.

Just because someone on here acts like they actually have a brain in their head and isn't pouting and freaking out throwing tantrums and acting like an emotional teenager, they're in the wrong?

It's just freaking entertainment, I don't agree with Bryan not being in the Rumble, and not winning it. But so what? Am I gonna lose my damn mind? No. This place looks like a damn asylum right now, no wonder nobody new wants to join, take a look at what they'd be seeing.

I thought you meant everybody else, not yourself. People always smugly say "they'll be back" whenever anyone starts saying they're done with it. Sorry, misunderstood.

Gee thanks for the fucking support.

Well someone has to tell it like it is, I see like 8 threads all saying how WWE sucks and no one ever wants to watch that shit again and they are boycotting it. If you're trying to lure people in who are avid watchers of the product, why would they come to a small forum, with not a huge WWE discussion, where almost all the threads are bashing the thing they watch?

Well one, the vast majority of people are saying the same thing right now. Look at twitter, reddit, and any other major forum on the internet. EVERYONE IS PISSED. People are going to vent when they're pissed. Do you want me to start deleting topics and banning anyone from venting when stuff like this happens? I mean if so, I'll just change my username to WWE.Club and start banning people for typing in all caps occasionally.

People want a place to go and vent just as much as they want a place to go and share their enjoyment about the company. Look at the live chat tonight, it was a freaking blast.

People bitch on the internet, I get it :P

But the amount of threads on this is staggering, and it's not even constructive criticism or offering anything of value. It's just a string of posts containing FUCK in all caps and trying to outdo the one before in amount of curses and ridiculous statements.

What kind of constructive criticism can even be given any more? It's perfectly clear that WWE has no interest in listening to its fans. And yeah, there are a lot of threads tonight. Which is fucking great honestly, the more the better. People want to vent, and more power to them. I'll never once start deleting threads from these forums just because a few people might disagree with their content. There's nothing in them violating any of the very few rules we've established in this site. Deleting people's shit for no reason does way more harm than good in the long run. Look at what happened to the old club. One of the most common pieces of feedback we've gotten here is that people like having the ability to speak freely without fear of being censored, unlike the old side.

And anyway, I don't exactly see you providing "constructive criticism" for how we can make the site more new-user friendly, considering "nobody wants to join."

The same reason why a Jaguars fan would sign up to a Jaguars forum where all that is done is the fans crying about how irrelevant their team is.

Whether you like it or not, criticism will forever always drive conversation/discussion more than praising does. Outside of extreme marks, and even then, nobody is going to reject joining a forum just because there is a lot of complaining about a decision (and rightfully so, might I add).

I know this isn't the thread for it but it took Bryan years I would imagine to build up his site to position it where he wanted it membership wise and I would argue the ownership on WWE-Club (Bryan/Cris) is not even half as good as Tim/Locke. We are still a relatively new site and according to Tim, have gradually been acquiring more and more followers on Twitter and a decision like this I feel will only eventually increase that amount because people like to vent and want a place to do that. The reason we aren't seeing a bunch of new members isn't because people are moaning and bitching but because the site is still new and still needs time to get its name spread around. Keep in mind also WWE-Club was a frequent hit on Google after awhile and was easy to find. We haven't reached that point yet. So us complaining about a ridiculous decision has absolutely NO bearing on why new members aren't signing up.

Don't get me wrong, I get what you are saying. And I don't even necessarily disagree in a way (I do think there are some overreactions, including myself, but do you really blame us? The WWE really does suck). But it doesn't have anything to with why members haven't been joining.

Ill admit it, as much as i hated tonight, ill watch Raw tommorow. Why? Im actually interested to see where this goes. Bryans now without a match for mania. Bray wyatt will most likely square off with John Cena, ending the Wyatt/Bryan feud and Punks going to fight kane, ending any chance of Punk/Bryan. There is a 0% we get Orton vs Batista at Mania. I can almost guarentee that wont happen.

If i had to guess what happens, i think we get Orton/Batista/Bryan in a match similar to Kurt/Orton/Rey where Rey won the title. I wont get my hopes up, but what else is there for Bryan to do?

Yeah this is basically accurate. It's EXTREMELY hard to build up a new website, especially one that relies so heavily on user participation like an internet forum. We're incredibly fortunate to already have an existing userbase that transferred over with us, because that gives us a huge headstart with creating content and getting ourselves ranked higher in google searches.

All the data I get through webmaster tools in Google suggests that we are slowly but surely starting to gain ground in search exposure, but it's going to take a long time to get to the point where we're getting a lot of traffic coming in each day from organic searches. Most web developing and marketing experts say it often takes at least a year to get a decent amount of web search traffic for blogs, and blogs are easier to market than forums. The reason so many forums fail is that they give up within that first year.

We, however, have a headstart on most of those other forums and have been making a decent push on Twitter (but could be doing better there) to at least gain more exposure. We haven't seen the bottom line results yet, but we have been seeing progress, and that's enough for me at this point.

I'm not saying threads should be deleted, if people like it this way and want to do this, go ahead, who am I to stop you. The last thing I want is this place turning into the old Club, believe me.

I'm just saying, I'm not a negative person, as most of you probably well know, I like to look at the bright side of things and have a positive attitude, a "wait and see" attitude if you will. And seeing the tidal wave of negativity gets to me and to be honest, makes me lose the will to keep posting and going against that tidal wave.

But that's my problem, not the sites, and I'll deal with it.

Dude I know this, and sorry if I'm coming across as being a bit hostile, I'm just in a bad mood tonight haha. I really don't want for you to lose the will to keep posting. But you just gotta understand that when big things like this happen, people are GOING to get pissed and post their displeasure a LOT, often in ways that are over the top. Unfortunately, not all of us were blessed with your patience :lol

No.

Because I haven't been watching for years anyway, probably read results or come on here to see if anything interesting happening.

The hilarity of WWE booking is typified that when the Cena/Wyatt match at Mania was discussed - it was rightly and quickly dismissed. Now it seems it could become reality LOL.

Unless they only fight at EC but doubt it. They'lll probably get a cheap win at EC before Cena as he did with Nexus and any other bright prospect, gets the clean win in a one on three handicap match.

The problem with a post like this Brett is that you automatically undercut the statement that you have a brain in your head.

You do have a brain in your head, I know you do. But when you feel the need to state that it makes you look like a douche. Not only that but then you proceed to put yourself in the "infallible" position of being above the argument because it's just entertainment. Anyone with a brain knows that to have a discussion about a topic requires all parties to discuss the topic and not hold themselves on a pedestal of being "above it all". When you're in that position it opens you up to two things: you become a target and your statements regarding the topic have no merit. Why should we listen to you? You're not apart of the discussion. You're seemingly above it.

We're not discussing whether or not WWE is entertainment. We're talking about the outcome of a specific PPV we're all passionate about. You may not think the way the show went is such a bad thing, that's fine. That is your opinion. Discuss that, debate with the merits of your opinion. Don't try and undercut everyone else that may disagree with you by "being above it".

Are people being that "mental" anyway? We're posting on an online forum. It's not like they're stringing up WWE supporters and executing them. Posting on a forum is not an over reaction, currently it's the safest and most expected reaction.

I actually DO think what happened was a bad thing. I just choose not to work myself into a frenzy about it. Ultimately, we all have no idea what's going to happen between now and Mania, a million things could happen and I think there's still a legitimate chance Bryan is in the title match come Mania.

I refuse to believe, especially after last night, that WWE is so dense that they can't see that he is undoubtedly their top guy and will be treated as such in time. They probably promised Batista the Rumble win when he agreed to come back and didn't wanna go back on their word and risk pissing him off already.

There's my opinion.

I don't know anymore. I used to think that but I can't say that with any certainty now.

Previous top talent have come out and publicly slammed WWE for the results of the last PPV. When has that ever happened?

Fucking hell, Brett. There's an explosion in activity and that's a reason for you to take a shot at the site? Like activity will scare people away? That makes no sense whatsoever.

People are angry and are venting, there's no better place than the internet for that. You do it yourself, but for some reason you focus your frustration on the rest of us, just for being justifiably upset about shitty entertainment. If you didn't like what happened either, then what's the big deal? Join us. Take a pot shot or two about how stupid they're being. And don't worry about upsetting anyone in the process: it's pretty clear that WWE doesn't give a shit what its fans think.

I enjoyed the Rumble last night & I enjoy the Elimination Chamber matches so I'll probably watch everything until WrestleMania but most of the PPVs after that bore me.

The product over all looks better then when I stopped watching back at WM 29. I'll catch Raw tonight.
