According to @tancredipalmeri who is a pretty reliable source (he's always seem pretty spot on) have announced that Xavi to NY Red Bulls is a done deal for after the world cup!

Sad news for Barcelona but out of him and Iniesta, Xavi more likely to leave as he's said he wouldn't want to stand in others' way I believe.

Nice news! I'll definitely have to go to a Red Bulls match if Xavi makes the move.

Also, great showing at home again today, 5-0. At this point I think the only thing stopping City from winning trophies is City themselves.

Xavi to NYRB would be an absolutely horrible move for a player that, despite his age, still has a lot to offer for either Barca or another top European side (see Pirlo). Fantastic news for the MLS though should it happen.

There's a video of Ronaldinho beating off doing the rounds on the internet.

My eyes...

I think the feeling he's not hitting the standards he's set and hence the move. But they could replace him with Dortmund's Gundogan - wouldn't be a bad replacement although it would bugger our move for him but can't see him choosing us over Barca sadly.

Ronaldinho knocking one out? I've not even seen or heard of it and I'm geting bad images - mainly involving seeing his teeth (which actually I've remembered he's had surgery on them to make 'em less goof last year)

Barca won't spend to replace him, Sergi Roberto is a ready made replacement, or they'll drop Cesc into a deeper position because Cesc was originally bought as Xavi's replacement

According to an article in The Guardian, Ravel Morrison is on 15k a week at West Ham, but ifa club were to bid 10 million for him, it activates a clause in his contract that says his wages must to be raised to 60k a week.

If I was a manager, I'd troll West Ham and bid 10 million for him, then deliberately not agree personal terms with him. West Ham would then have an added 45k on their wage bill :lol

Ha! That would be funny. If I was his agent, I'd get to work!

Rene shown his inexperience by talking too much and could get in trouble for his comments.

Ravel's always had promise but after that brief part of the season when he scored a couple of goals, hasn't really maintained it.

I think had he been at a better club he'd off continued his form, he's the only bright spark in that team, I think he needs to move teams, he's got an outside chance of making the WC squad IMO, I'd rather see England take him then someone like Townsend

I've not decided if this is a dumb bet or not yet... I mean its just too freaking obvious the teams should win... the worst part is, if all the games this weekend win, I'll be waiting till next friday to find out my fate!

Villa's signings seem on the money so far. Holt has played in the PL, got experience. Bertrand could do well but hasn't played under Mourinho - think he'd thrive at a club with less focus. He did well in the CL 2012 final when Di Matteo took a gamble on him but I felt it paid off.

In other news, Fatderson looks like he'll be off to Fiorentina on loan. I'm sure he's breathing in on this picture..

^I'm not. A draw would be seen as a good result for us. Chelsea could do a number on us.

No RVP or Rooney either, this could get embarrassing

I surprised Sunderland got anything out of this game. They were so poor in the first half.
