^Ha, it could happen but not the big fee. Cole out of favour and may retire at the end of the season rather than leave to go to another club. Shaw is a fantastic prospect and one that United would love to have but it seems Shaw's a Chelsea fan and they'll fork out the bucks for him I'd say.

Big match tonight - expect Arsenal to edge it due to them having strikers who can actually score.

Lampard almost scored a fantastic goal. Off the bar after a quality build up. Chelsea could win this.

0-0 it finishes up.

Weather fucked up the match fluidity but draw not bad result but Giroud apparently had a big chance but failed to score. A sign that Arsenal need a top quality striker for trophies.

It was a pretty dull game, failed to live up to expectations.

Currently watching Sky's 'Premier League 100 Club' tribute to Thierry Henry. Easily one of the best players to ever play in the league - grace, flair, bags of ability. He was absolutely unstoppable in his prime, pure class.

^Yup, he's up there with one of the best PL players to have played. Incredible to think he went from a winger who flopped with Juventus to breaking Arsenal's all time scoring record.

But there still something about him that grated on me - probably that va va voom bollocks of a car commerical and just his celebrations sometimes used to make me want to punch him but besides that all good!

Also Tim Sherwood appointed Spurs boss till the end of the 14-15 campaign. A surprise to me, definitely. Firstly because I mis-read it and thought he was appointed till the end of the season but found out it was for the additional season aswell. Secondly because Levy's shown no interest in promoting from within but maybe Sherwood's impressed him sufficiently but it's still a massive gamble. Once a new man comes in, results pick up but to sustain that and get them into the top four? It'd be a fantastic achievement if he did but if Levy messes this one up then his head could and should be on the chopping block.

Didn't get to see the game because I was at work. I suppose a draw is better than a loss. Win would have done us really good though.

So Ronaldo only finished around 20 goals short of Messi's record 91 goals in a calender year... but he is still a better player than Messi!

Ooh, just realized that the West Ham/Arsenal game is on BT Sport. What with it being a 3pm kick-off, I didn't think any of them would be on TV.

Yeah I was surprised aswell especially with it being a 3pm KO.

Good results day for us - Everton losing, Spurs drawing. Arsenal getting our hopes up for winning and I'd like City to win purely to dampen the title hopes of my two brother's who are fans of the Scousers!

I feel Moyes should have played Vidic today - not an easy away game and played Smalling/Evans on Saturday. Kudos to him for bringing on Januzaj as in the first half, he helped to bring us back in the match by keeping Figuoroa occupied.

Two goals conceded just poor to concede but Rafael's injury a downer - hope he's OK. Jones getting injured is no surprise but luckily Carrick's back and Fletcher got a run out.

Is Valencia suspended for one or two games? His first yellow saw him be out for the Norwich match so due to the second yellow which meant he got a red which normally means an immediate one match ban, does that mean Valencia misses Spurs? If he does, a fricking poor lapse of judgement. It's not as if he loses his rag often but probably the worst time to do it.

No Rio in the squad again, his days are numbered I feel. Probably some blowback for the Moyes "keeps us waiting" for the teamsheets comments possibly and more likely, his poor form

That offside decision on Sterling was ridiculous. Awful.

West Ham could have sealed the match with the chances they had. Put all their eggs in one basket expecting Carroll to be the saviour.

Such an open battle in all areas of the league - gripping stuff.
