I was optimistic when I saw Cameron was back involved, and that they were ignoring all films post-T2 however this trailer seems to show references from Salvation and Gensys in one way or another.

Perhaps the film itself will deliver as the trailer didn't imo.

So, this has been released. My brother felt it was a worthy addition to come straight after the first two Terminator films, but I've yet to see it.
