Of Monsters and Men is a fantastic band. I get them confused with Of Mice and Men which, aside from being a book, is an incredibly shitty band. Very different. 9/10

That's a pretty interesting song. Nice and atmospheric. It definitely works well at conveying a certain tone, which is why it was so cool on Breaking Bad. It's not really a song I'd listen to often on its own though.

Also, now that I'm hearing the song out of any particular context, I have to say it sounds really like 'House of the Rising Sun'. I think the chord progression is the exact same, or close to it at least. Even the melody is similar. Anyway, I'd give it a 6/10 on my first non-Breaking Bad related listen.

I've never been a fan of 80s music, and Michael Jackson in particular. I just find it all really cheesy. The beat in this song kind of drives me nuts. Pretty good vocals by Jackson, but yeah, the cartoonish 80s pop vibe kills it. 4 or 5/10 for me, but I'm biased cus of the genre.

I actually really like Nine Inch Nails for the most part. I've been a fan for years - saw them live for the second time in Belfast back in August.

I like this particular song, but don't find it to be one of his more memorable ones. The vocal line is nice as is the instrumentation, but it doesn't really stick in the mind the way some other Nine Inch Nails stuff does. I'd give it a 7/10 still though.

I suggest listening to the full song. Amazing how she can write such long songs, and the language is fantastic. I do believe Joanna Newsom is one of the top 5 most talented musicians in the world. Here's another (not 12 minutes this time )

I'm not sure what's worse, the fact that there's such a thing as Punk Goes Pop, the fact that they think Mumford and Sons is pop, the fact that they think Tonight Alive is punk, or the fact that this track is twenty times worse than the original. 2/10
