Never heard of this artist before, but I that was really cool. I'm a sucker for non-hip hop takes on hip hop songs, and I like the White Stripes/Black Keys vibe they have going.

Alright, prophet wants me to rate this! Not really my genre I'm afraid. Seems kinda 80ish which IMO was a black hole for music . I won't give it a numerical rating because that'd probably be unfair, but I probably wouldn't seek out more of their stuff.

It's not a bad song but the lead singers voice annoys me alittle but the song is okay 6/10

Hmm, seems ok but not quite my kind of thing:

- Not a fan of his diction while singing generally (the fact that it reminded me of James Blunt at first didn't help), and also specifically I think the vocals aren't emotive enough for the lyrics given the lack of other things going on.

- That kind of musically sparse song is difficult to pull off anyway, and for me this didn't get there.

Still, it was relatively pretty and generally inoffensive - 5/10.

Has a very good feel. Like it a lot. Bores me halfway through, though, to be honest. Very little changes as the song progresses. But good track overall. 7/10

I'm not really a fan of Phoenix (my brother is, however), but this song is shorter on the electronica elements than I'm used to hearing from them. Not bad at all.
