Ok, how about your top five singles?
Ahh. Shit. That one is hard.

Well I liked Foo Fighters a lot for Color and the Shape and Nothing Left to Lose, but I thought they got a little mediocre after that until Wasting Light, which was an incredible return to form in my own opinion. So I'd probably lean more towards stuff from those three albums. But while I didn't much like the albums in between, they all had some really good singles. So ... yeah this is hard.
Okay, lets give it a go:
1) Rope
2) Walk
3) Walking After You
4) Everlong
5) I'll Stick Around
That actually hurt a little.

I love most of their singles. Long Road to Ruin is the only one I actively dislike. And Low, All My Life and The Pretender are all songs I'd listen to but don't love. Everything else is golden.
My thoughts about their catalog are much the same. Though I didn't care much for Nothing Left To Lose when it was released, it's since grown on me in a big way, and while I admit that One By One, overall, is a fairly mediocre album, "All My Life" restored my faith in their ability to "rock", to the point where One By One didn't leave my CD player for months. In Your Honor is kind of tough for me to judge, as the rock half is perhaps their weakest material to date, collectively. The acoustic half, however, is pretty fantastic in my opinion, so I could never call In Your Honor a "bad" album. Echoes, Silence, Patience, and Grace has a few standouts, but it feels like they were trying to cram too many different styles into one album, and trying to be "epic", which is a big part of why I think everyone loved Wasting Light so much (myself included).
As for my five singles, two of them actually make your list of songs you'd listen to, but don't love haha.
"All My Life"
"Everlong"
"Times Like These"
"The Pretender"
"This Is A Call"
